“A Gem in the Crown Jewels of Gatlinburg Restaurants”

This place has delicious food, good prices, and wonderful service. I appreciate the authenticity (the owner is actually British) and like to support local, not chain, restaurants! This is a great place to grab a beer and enjoy performances like the Johnny Cash look-alike or just settle down to a quite meal. I especially like the shandy, as it reminds me of the radlers that are so popular in Germany. I definitely recommend this place to tourists and locals alike.

“Great atmosphere, great food!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 2, 2012

We tried this place out and loved it. Had lots of different beers on tap- things you'd expect from a uk pub! We both had new castle ale- very cold! The food was great. My husband and I split the potato skins and the fish and chips. Both were very good and what you would expect from a pub. The service is great. Very friendly. Great music. I would recommend!

“Great food!”

Great food in a town with not so many great restaurants. The menu was simple and the food was outstanding. Keep up the good work!

“Great burger, fun atmosphere!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 14, 2012 via mobile

My husband and I just got back from a long weekend in Gatlinburg. Yesterday we hiked 8 miles to Ramsey Cascades and were both dying for a good burger when we got off the trail. We wandered into Sherlock Holmes and found just what we were hoping for!

We both ordered a beer and they were ice cold. Our burgers were great too. My husband is a "burger snob" as his family raises their own beef and he couldnt stop talking about how delicious and perfectly cooked his burger was.

My only suggestions for this quaint little place is a happy hour deal. Being off of the main drag in Gatlinburg, a good 2 for 1 on drafts and an appetizer special would really bring people in. We would love to come back on a weekend night when they have live music!

“Real Pub atmosphere and food”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 10, 2012

The folks who run this place are real Brits! Very friendly. Tasty pub grub. Not a huge menu, but everybody liked what they got. Authentic pub offerings and atmosphere. Nice change of pace for this area. Attractive patio and also live music when we were there. Seems like it would be a great place to watch sports. (Guessing it was a really cool place to watch London Olympics!) Good beer selections. Limited desserts (just ice creams and brownies), but after all, it's a pub, though very family friendly and with bargain kids menu. We'll be back next time we're in Gatlinburg. Handy location, near the aquarium.
