Picture if you will, a darkened room, vaudeville music in the background. A hushed and enthusiastic audience! The spotlight comes to life, the cast on stage, the audience erupts into thunderous applause, whistles, cheers, taking their feet, throwing roses at the stage as the cast struggles to maintain their composure. The fans are ready to tear down the stage in enthusiasm before the show even starts..... Well that is all a bunch of Malarkey. Honestly it wasn't far from that on opening night, the cast as always was excellent, when Tim took the stage in his school teacher persona there were several audience members who I feared for, some were laughing so hard I thought they might pass out. The show ended with a standing ovation and the theater was packed full. The theater, the cast, the crew and the overall atmosphere make this my favorite place in the Smokies, always a good time and always something new to see no matter how many times you watch the show. Two big thumbs up to all involved!!
