Owner description: Two unusual miniature golf courses that are packed with mountain hazards such as moonshine stills, outhouses, rocky walls and native plants.

I was checking out HillBilly golf this morning and came across a review stating it was no longer there. It is. And it is a lot of fun. For $12 per person for adults (cash only) you ride an in incline up the mountain and then play down 18 holes of mini -golf to a second platform and ride the incline back down. For me this was quite challenging as I am slightly handicapped and walk with a cane for assistance on flat ground. Everything was smooth and well paved but sheer volume of narrow steep stairs was tough. Also they should have had railings on BOTH sides of the stairs. For those with small children I will say I did't notice any restrooms at either platform on the mountain. So be sure you can get through 18 holes of mini golf. All in all though, a pleasant enjoyable experience in beautiful surroundings.

I read one of the reviews that said Hillbilly Golf was closed down... I wanted to make sure everyone knows it is not closed down.... Friends of mine own this and has been the same owner since it opened in July of 1971... He designed this himself and this was once a hill that came all the way to the parkway, and they blasted out the rock and dirt to make a frontage to make room to put the incline to ride to the top to play your choice of two courses..Each course has 18 holes and very unique with real authentic moonshine stills, old covered wagons, farm equipment,etc.... the only time they are closed is during the cold winter months.....March is one the busiest times for spring breakers.... The person that wrote the review that they were closed down, may have came the first part of March and it was still cold and snowy, But I wanted to let everyone know they are open for business,,, and each year the owner takes pride in repainting all the old farm equipment and replacing all the carpet, so each year the summer season starts out with a "new facelift".... Kids and Adults all love this unique little creation nestled on the hillside in the foothills of the Smoky Mountains, on the Parkway in Gatlinburg TN

Better have mountain goat feet because this a course on the hill...This course has been here for numerous years and always enjoyed it many years ago and it was always an annual stop for us to get in a quick game of putt putt.

Hillbilly golf is located up on a hill and you have to take a motorized cart to get up there to play golf. I thought it was a cool concept. The golf courses didn't have anything special and there was no view from the top. However, price was probably about the same as other mini golf courses.

You take a ride ot the top of the hill and work your way back down through the mini-golf course. Since it's built into the side of the mountain, it was a bit cooler than playing on one of the many mini-golf courses on the strip...and there's nothing like Hillbilly Golf to be found! Fun and different!
