My son loves all things tall so we had to visit the Space Needle. Staff at the counter was great, very friendly and informative. The tower provides a great view of the area and has FREE viewing telescopes at the top. I can't remember any other tower I have been on that did not require change to look through the telescopes. Kids loved it and so did their parents.

It is definitely high up in the air! We went at night on our first trip...not so scary, but definitely got some vertigo, lol. Used second trip up the next day and that was definitely scary! Very windy, could feel the floor move. Two trips for two adults for around $18. Worth it, but nothing spectacular.

This was an easy walk, great view, and well priced. You get a 24 hour pass so you can see it in the daylight and at dark. That was nice and you got to see it twice.

During a group weekend visit to down-town Gatlinburg, we visited the Space Needle. The game room reminded me of an indoor Coney Island. There are arcade games which include air hockey, dancing, races & basketball hoops!
Our favorite activity however was laser tag! There are only about 6 people allowed in at one time so we had to split up in groups, which made it even more fun! The equipment isn't the newest, but the black light maze added an extra edge of excitement.
We didn't go up the needle, but the game room was quite enough!
I gave 3 stars due to the fact that many of the games were not working properly and the instructions for the usage weren't clearly printed on the games.
Otherwise, a nice visit while visiting down-town Gatlingbur!
