Loved the location........close to the National Park, but not in the craziness of Gat linburg. We had a room on the back side of the hotel, so it was quiet and did not have road noise. The regular rooms are comfortable, but do not have refrigerators. We liked having the trolley and minature golf on the property. The breakfasts were adequate, but boring if you stayed more than 1 nite. No eggs. Would stay here again.

We checked in early no problem, most of the staff was very kind. Our room was okay. Bed was comfortable, we stayed in a king suite with the refridge/microwave, everything worked properly. Some of the trim work was missing on the base of the floor and my young daughter was instantly attracted to that... which was a pain in the butt. The free breakfast was as expected..cereal,bagels,waffle maker, juice, milk, biscuits and gravy. Mini golf was right on the property. Trolley service was a bonus although posted wait times were unreliable. A little way off the "main strip" of entertainment but extremely easy to find. Stream behind hotel was nothing to look at. Indoor and outdoor swimming pools were very nice. Workout room was good-5 machines. Short trip to the national park.

Fairfield Inn & Suites was a pretty good and relaxing stay for us in Gatlinburg, TN. The room was nice and cozy. Overall the hotel had a nice, newly renovated look. Clean and still bright carpets, beautiful walls.. and best of all, a very beautiful Christmas tree!

We stayed a couple of nights at this hotel. We travel to Gatlinburg a lot and this is our favorite place that we have stayed. The kids loved the putt putt being right in the parking lot. They were dying to try the water slide but it was too cold when we were there. It is very convenient to use the trolley system because the stop is in the parking lot. It was a little annoying because the trolley ssytem was slow and ran behind because of the number of people in town but it beat driving in the crowded street. The staff at the front desk were very helpful and knowledgeable. They always spoke to the children and greeted us. We did not eat the continental breakfast because hubby likes a hot breakfast but it looked great and would have sufficed for the children and I. We will definetly stay here again and would recommend it highly.

We had a great time here. We had a king suite, which comes with a small living room, a simi seperate bedroom, and nice bathroom. Flat screen TV's. Very comfortable beds. Very clean. Really enjoyed our stay. The only draw back is that the hotel is well out of walking distance to downtown, so you must drive and park to see Gatlinburg. However, I have stayed in downtown Gatlinburg, and after about an hour, you will take the peace and quite of a hotel out side of town. Bikers like to go up and down the downtown street late at night. I will be returning to this hotel.

Spent 2 nights at Fairfield Inn which is the first hotel on the left when you arrive in Gatlinburg from Pigeon Forge. It is very fresh, clean, comfortable, and affordable at $54.00 per night, although it looks like the most expensive hotel in town. The staff was friendly and helpful. They offer a nice continental breakfast, and is on the Trolley Stop. I highly recommend it although it is a little bit further out from town, you will not be disappointed.

My husband and I stayed at this hotel recently for pleasure to see the Great Smokey Mountains and it was an ideal location out of the chaos of Pigeon Forge and the entrance into Gatlinburg. Their downtown area was WAY cool, but I was glad we were in that craziness. I would stay at their downtown location next time, but was glad to have a quieter hotel. The only downfall of this hotel was that we were on the third floor facing the front of the hotel and heard service trucks pulling in the front entrance the next morning. I had a big, loud fan and could still hear it.

Overall, the room was recently redecorated, had a nice chair for my husband to kick back in and the service was nice. The continental breakfast was decent, but the seating was quite tight. For a cost around $85, I thought it was nice and would stay again.
