We went to the aquarium on the 4th of July and it was very busy, but once inside people kinda spread out and it did't seem so bad. Even as adults we loved it as did our granddaughter. We loved the shark tank and the penguin house. Lots of neat exhibits to enjoy. Will definitely go back. We ordered our tickets online at hotel and saved a couple of dollars per ticket and then we picked up our tickets at the guest services window. A lot faster than the ticket line. You are allowed to get your hand stamped if you want to leave and then come back later in day. There is a parking garage behind it.

$28 to get in is a little steep but the aquarium is a nice visit. The building is showing some age and it may be time for a remodel. The people working were very helpful and took time to explain about the different stops we made inside. The girl working the horseshoe crabs was particularly friendly and helpful. We have been a few times because we love the deep sea section. It's a greatest to kill a couple of hours and the restaurant inside is really good and not too expensive. I fed four people inside for less than $40 and that's a deal in any attraction setting. I was also pleased to see they have added a veggie burger combo as I am not a fan of processes burgers.

Take the time and spend a few hours, you will not be disappointed.

What a great aquarium, but get there in the morning. Like anything around Gatlinburg, get there before 11 am unless you like being a sardine. The aquarium is surprisingly large and we loved how the conveyor belt in the shark tunnels allowed you to step off and take your time unlike nearly every other aquarium we've visited where you get pushed through the tunnel like a herd of cattle.

We really enjoyed the aquarium. The penguins were so cute - I love how they all have name tags on their wing. So cute!! Norm and Bob, Susie and Noel. The sharks were pretty cool. All the strange little fish, seahorses, rays, crabs, etc. were easy to view and it wasn't too crowded.

This was our second time at this aquarium, and this time was just as wonderful as the first. It's totally worth every penny, and it's great for any age. Great activity for a rainy day in Gatlinburg.

HINTS: Order ahead online, even if you don't have a printer to print the tickets to save money. Also, you can get your hand stamped to come back again later, but you have to ask-they will not ask you!
