The staff were wonderful. Had some warm wine with mulling spices in addition to the free wine tasting. We ended up buying the red dry for this reason and I normally don't drink dry wines, but it was fantastic!

Wine was a little pricy (compared to the other wineries in the area) but, worth it. The host we had was very knowledgeable about the area and the wine. We collect the bottle openers from the wineries we vist and they gave us a free one :) nice touch!! We bought the Laurel White, Martha Jane Rosé and the Wiley Oakley. All very good wines! Would go back if in the area. They also offer free parking!!

Our journey to Sugarland was prompted by a Christmas gift from a friend that was purchased on Living Social. The voucher for a wine and cheese tour had been purchased for Christmas of 2011, and stated that it expired in June of 2012. We do not live in Gatlinburg, so getting to the winery wasn't possible until this weekend, the 5th of January, 2013. In spite the expiration of our voucher, Sugarland welcomed us in and treated us to a cheese and wine tasting event as well as a personal tour of their wine making operation. Peggy made us feel at home, and the knowledge she had of their wine selections surpassed that of every vineyard we've visited thus far including vineyards in Texas and the Biltmore estates. They not only honored our vouchers, but added in some special gifts to the items included with our experience at no cost. I would definitely recommend this adventure for anyone looking to occupy 1-3 hours in the Gatlinburg area.

This is a nice winery and gift shop. I did not take advantage of the tours, but everyone there is friendly and helpful. If you are out and about shopping/strolling on the strip in Gatlinburg they will hold your purchases for you until you can make it back so you don't have to carry all of you're stuff.
