Before leaving for our trip to Gatlinburg, I checked TripAdvisor as usual to find out our best options for food and drink. Sugarland Cellars popped up with amazing reviews and I told my Husband that we HAD to go there.

When we first entered, the place was buzzing and everyone seemed busy but as we did some shopping, someone asked if we'd like a wine tasting. SURE! It was a great experience and no pressure. The woman was even sweet about our hungry little one-year-old and offered him a continuous flow of crackers!

We are red wine lovers but after our tasting, we purchased THREE white wines. They were all delicious and the prices were reasonable.

I highly recommend Sugarland and will return there every trip to the Smokies. I even intend to purchase some items for shipping for the Holidays, which we were told they offered. Very pleased with this beautiful winery. Great wine, great service and nice gifts/souvenirs, as well!

Peggy the tour guide was awesome and made the experience. Their wines were great, we ended up buying 4 different types. We will definitely come back.

My husband and I went to other wineries in Gatlinburg, but Sugarland is by far and away the best winery in Gatlinburg. From the friendly staff, very knowledgable tour guide,Peggy, to the "real" wine glasses used for tasting, this place is a step above the rest. Good prices for good wine made it even better yet. We bought a total 6 bottles of Elkmont, Baskins Creek Blanc, and Martha Jane Rose and a Wine Freezer Bag for Sangria. We plan on going back to buy some more wine as gifts!

The 20 minute free facility tour was lead by a very friendly and informative tour guide, Peggy Register.Sugarland was not bottling at the time of our visit, but that process was explained in detail.Wine tasting is available before or after the tour at no cost. Bought a bottle of Baskins Creek Blanc - light body and semi sweet. Also, dry red is very good. Cost per bottle is about right for a small winery.
