This was our first time staying at this resort. It was very well maintained and clean. The staff were friendly from check in to check out. (They had fresh baked cookies when we arrived) We loved the location even though it was a little drive from Gatlinburg. Very peaceful. The grounds were beautiful. They provided both gas and charcoal grills and cleaned them daily. We had a screened in porch with a wonderful patio set. Swimming pools were nice and clean and they have a great playground for the kids. Next year we will be staying here again.

My dad and brother joined me for a weekend golf trip to Bent Creek. This place was centrally located for all three of use. Not knowing what to expect when we arrived, we were pleasantly surprised. The condos around the grounds were very nice. We all stayed in a 1-bedroom suite and it was plenty big. We are all over 6-3" tall and the place was huge. I did bring my air mattress though. The condo was perfect for prepping the food for the grill, and it also has a full kitchen and comes fully equipped with all plates/cutlery needed. We grilled out each night just outside our condo. We brought steaks and sides for each night. The golf course was also nice. For what you pay ($50 including cart) you can't beat it. The front 9 is more traditional as it is in the valley. The back 9 gets into the mountains and there are short par 4's that require 150 - 175 yard lay-ups off the tee. But the views and course are beautiful. The greens were a bit on the slow side, but very smooth and it allowed you to get aggressive with you lines. The fairways were plush and very nice. My only advice would be to bring bug spray. They don't take away from the experience but just annoying. All in all, if you are looking for a guys golf getaway this place is affordable and centrally located to Atlanta, Charlotte, and Nashville (3.5 hrs). Bring good steaks and scotch and you will want to come back.

This was a great venue. We had a one bedroom unit with complete kitchen including, blender, toaster, coffee maker, wine glasses, non stick cookware, cookie sheet....almost everything you could need. However, you need to shop for groceries in Gatlinburg, about 20 minutes away as there are only small, overpriced stores nearby. The outdoor pool was not open while we were there, but it looked fairly large. While the units do have washers and dryers, there is only one portion of laundry soap so if you want to launder you own clothes, you will need to bring more. there were 6 portions of dishwasher soap, regular dishwashing soap, towels and pot holders.
The bathroom was adequately equipped with towels, hairdryer, and soaps. There were ceiling fans in both the living room and bedroom and the windows opened and had screens.
We played the golf course, it is impossible. It was overpriced and there were no towels, tees, bag people or water. Many of the holes required pin point precision. The front nine is boring and the back nine is like a sic-fi creation. If you are staying for the golf here, don't bother. If you are looking for a great place to stay in that area, this would be it.
