The view from the room was breathtaking. The hotel is older but well maintained and all rooms not only have an interior they also have a view of either the city or mountains. The balconies don't have a place to sit on but you can still go out and get that mountain fresh air!

This hotel has a resort feel. It is nestled up in the mountains and feels very secluded. You could easily spend a couple days on site sitting on an outdoor patio sipping a cocktail and looking at the mountains, or, if you have kids, in the great mini water park they have on site. Pool needs to be cleaned more often. Food in the lounge area was very good and relatively reasonably priced. Good happy hour specials. The room was clean and had a great view. Staff was excellent - very polite, professional and helpful.

Room Tip: We were in Room 1209 overlooking the city. If overlooking the city you want to be pretty high up...

My wife and a friend of ours were making an overnight trip to Gatlinburg, TN. The Park Vista was very nice and very family friendly. Great pool, very kid friendly, I plan to come back with other family members. It is an older hotel, but I think it was the best hotel we have stayed at in Gatlinburg, based on location, view, and the overall hotel experience. Thank you

I have stayed many placed in the Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge area including hotels, condos, and chalets. Where you stay really depends on the type of mountain vacation you want. I got a great deal on my stay at the Park Vista and could not believe what I got for the money. The hotel offers great views from the higher floors. A room with a mountain view is the best, but a city view is good also. The room has a sliding door to the balcony where you can enjoy looking at the mountains. The bed is so comfortable which I think is an important point. It really has a resort feel to it and the indoor pool area is unbelievable -- not your typical hotel pool by any means. Due to some rain, we at at the bar and the restaurant and the food was great and reasonably priced. Another nice perk is the ice cream freezer in the lobby where you can pick your favorite treat and drop a dollar in the box to be donated to charity. Oh I almost forgot, we got a free breakfast buffet with our "deal"! With refrigerators standard in the rooms and all the other amenitiess I do not see how you cannot love this place!

Room Tip: Choose mountain view if possible but city view is nice. Ask for an upper floor for the best view.

Our hotel stay was wonderful. Everyone was so nice and our rooms were very clean. The view over the city was beautiful. It was nice to recieve a warm cookie at checkin. And my husband & I had forgot our robes and they had very nice complimentary robes for us to use. We would stay here again.

I can't wait to plan another trip to this fantastic hotel on top of a mountain with a beautiful view. Very friendly staff and very affordable. I would highly recommend this hotel. Has a inexpensive trolley shuttle that run all day daily to and from the hotel.

Our stay was nice and had a gorgeous view. Our room would get humid and stuffy if you didn't keep the air on at a cooler temperature. The microwaves were located in the hallway. We noticed that the carpet hadn't been vacuumed or cleaned in a while but the view made up for it. There was an odor. We were able to see the mountains as we awoke in the mornings. There is a very nice pool for the kids with water slides. Game room and exercise room by the pool too. There is no free WIFI. You have to pay $10/per day/device for internet. There were free computers down in the lobby, but just a few and you had to wait often to get one. There is no complementary breakfast and the restaurant charged $12/person for the buffet breakfast. There is a nice lounge with a fire pit outside and the bar area was great on weekends as they had wonderful musicians come and sing and filled the lobby with their sound. There was an artist on certain days in the lobby to do portraits. Our sleep was nice with the soft mattresses and down pillows and we rarely heard our neighbors as the walls are thick. We could hear some noise from the hallway, but it didn't wake us. The bathrooms are small with one sink, but we were able to work around that with 4 of us in the room. Parking was an issue each day we came back to the hotel, but the hotel does offer a trolley service for $.50/person/trip to take you into town. The view made up for everything that we didn't have available and the cleanliness.
