Moonshine places have boomed in Gatlinburg but this is still the only place that offered live entertainment outside. They also provided heat on the cold night. Nice place to sit in the rocker and enjoy free entertainment.

We've stopped in twice in the last two visits and thought the staff was very helpful and fun. The free samples are always a good selling point but the experience was also excellent. After having a few samples ended up buying some moonshine on the way out. Had a great deal on it too!

Cool attraction with free tastings. Some are 138 proof, and will put hair on your chest! Some are 40 proof and are more like liqueurs. Apple pie, orange crush and butterscotch to name a few. You can try about 8 different flavors in tiny little cups. Everything comes in mason jars, which should make the little hipster crowd ecstatic. You can even buy redneck stemware(a footed mason jar).

One of the coolest things we did in Gatlinburg. Wide variety of products available for purchase, not all alcohol related (we bought a candle!). They had a wide variety of sauces, dips, jams, and pickeled items, most of which you could taste with chips, crackers, or pretzels.

The tasting was fantastic. They walked us through 10 different moonshines, offering a great Cliff notes version of each one. All of the 100 proof shines have a huge bite to them. Would not take much to be feeling extra happy. The cheery on tops? A moonshine soaked cheery. (What else would it be?)

Awesome Smokey Mountain theme on the exterior and interior of the store. Most of the employees had overalls or at least a cowboy hat on, which was a great touch. All of the tasting tables and checkout places looked like they were made from logs for a log cabin. Old western style barrels and wagons housed products throughout the store.

Overall, it was quite a hoot-hollerin' good time. Even if you aren't a fan of the shine, worth a visit to.
