I was torn between this and wine tasting but decided we can taste wine anywhere we go. This actually ended up being one of the highlights of our stay in Gatlinburg. The store offers 12 different samples of moonshine which are all poured for a group bellied up to the bar. Our "server" was hilarious. I tried all but one (blueberry) and had several favorites. The clothing side of the store also has samples of barbecue sauces, salsas, jellies and mustards. We actually stopped back at the end of the day rather than carry everything. They did mention they ship everything but the moonshines. For those, you need to find a distributor.
The live music outside was also a nice touch. They do also offer tours on the other side of the plaza.

Enjoying tasting the different flavors. Have seen Ole Smoky on the liquor store shelves at home, but never bought it. Ended up getting some Mango bbq sauce that's very tasty on burgers.

Great place to go! Fun with great music and free moonshine tastings. There is so much to do in the area but this was probably my favorite place on the strip. I highly recommend visiting the trails of the National Park while in Gatlinburg as well.

We visited the distillery a few times during our vacation to Gatlinburg last week. The sampling is extensive meaning you can sample all 12 or so varieties. The barkeeps are very friendly and make the tasting a ton of fun. Be sure to take some cash for tips and enjoy the experience. It's a must do if you enjoy imbibing!!

Some were very strong oh goodness the cherries burned my mouth. The tastings are free but you have to wait for your turn and then they do it in a group and you can taste all of them. wasn't to crowded when we went and they have a band playing right outside in the courtyard area
