“Want to Taste Mooneshine, Well This is the Place”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 17, 2011

This attraction was nothing to write home about. As you can see, I visited last year and just getting around to write something. The design of the place is the best part about it. Built to look a little like someones barn where they would distill moonshine. But much, much better. Pretty waterfall out front and a very large still producing some White Lightning. You can taste this home brew by going in and throwing back a small jigger of the stuff. You can purchase a jar of moonshine to bring home if you like. I did and all it does is sits on the shelf. Maybe just to say, "I got some moonshine, want to see it?" Would have been more interesting for them to explain some history and how it is made. Basically, if you want to buy some, go on in. If not, walk on by.

Very cool place to visit. Free shots were great. The Apple Pie shine was great and bought to jars along with the dipenser top ($6 bought you will need it to pour without spilling.

“Good for the Rheumatism”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 12, 2011

Great place. '40 Ford in the building, just like in "Thunder Road". Cool souvenirs, t-shirts, magnets, and the coolest souvenir of all, a mason jar of moonshine. I got a bottle of the corn liquor, smooth!

“Try the apple pie!”

The whole visit was nice. They are under construction, but the people there are friendly and willing to answer about a million questions! The apple pie moonshine was really delicious!
