“Neat find!”
Reviewed June 2, 2012

We found this little park this year for the first time. Not sure how long it’s been here. If you are not looking for it, you may miss it because it is tucked away.
There are nice and shady parts and sunny patches, too. There are several concrete picnic tables, a playground, large picnic shelter, a great kids fishing stream for kids under 12, and public bathrooms.

You can fish in the water or wade in it. The “beach” is made of these flat, smooth, oval shaped rocks – smoothed by the water, no doubt. We had fun collecting them.

When we were there at the end of May 2012, the playground was closed for some reason. It had caution tape all around it. It looked really neat, though, so maybe they are doing some repairs.

We will come back next year!
