“Best way to avoid the traffic and get around Gatlinburg”
Review of Gatlinburg Trolley

Definitely the way to go when it comes to visiting Gatlinburg. Take the Trolley and save money on gas driving around. Most parking areas in Gatlinburg charge about $5 bucks for the whole day but in taking the trolley you ride in air conditioning and are spared the aggravation of having to keep an eye on the hundreds of tourists that jump to cross from one end of the street to the other and when you drive in Gatlinburg you MUST pay attention to crosswalks. They are enforced. The trolley takes all that worry away and allows you to actually take in the sights and get off at key stops along the main drag. Definitely the way to see this amazing town.

I liked being able to park and ride the trolley and save on parking in downtown Gatliburg. The trolleys run every 30 minutes and it is a great service and great value.

We only took the trolley a couple times but glad we did. We parked for free at the Gatlinburg Visitors Center and got on the trolley and it took its to Ripley's Aquarium. We were close to the shops downtown. My only con is there isn't a schedule. One person told me 20 min and another told me 30 min. Luckily I "guesstimated" correctly and we actually arrived at the Aquarium as the trolley was pulling up. Great way to get around and it's only $2 for the day or 50¢ per trip.

We went to Gatlinburg during Labor Day so traffic was bad. It was so nice to get a $2.00 trolley pass for the day and have the ability to get on and off with very little waiting. If you don't get a pass its 50 cents for the main parkway per ride but you need exact change.
