We love local crafts when we travel but this loop was annoying. First of all, it was well before five on a Saturday in mid-March and a good portion of the shops listed on the loop were completely closed. The ones that were open were ok--some were great, but it's annoying to constantly be getting in and out of your car/parking/backing out in order to make the stops. And I am guessing it's really busy in the high season. I would only do this if you are a big shopper.

If you are up for a drive then go to the Arts and Crafts Community. It is on a loop and most places have ample parking. Everything from wood crafts to candles. Lots of little restaurants as well.

It is Appalachian art and very relaxing to drive/walk around to see it all. The area near Senor Hogg's Cantina is the very best!
There is a very nice woman's clothing store there too!

This will take a whole day at least. There are so many different types of arts and crafts to see. There are painters, photographers, woodcrafts, sculptures, jewelry, and more. You'll definitely see some unique work that you won't see other places.

Country crafts at multiple shops. Plenty of parking. Places selling pottery, candles, and woodcraft. Very few textiles. A few antique shops. A couple places to eat.
