Lots to see and buy! Take the trolley first and make notes on the route and then bring your vehicle back up. Trolley takes about an hour and is a nice pretty relaxing (air conditioned) ride. But it is an hour between them....and is much easier if you can go in and out of your car.

Unfortunately, didn't find this area until our last day of vacation! Enjoyed driving the curving road and stopping at all the little stores. There are some truly talented local craftsman in the area. Much better shopping than trudging through the crowds in downtown Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. Stop by Alewine Pottery....beautiful items!

Bring money, great crafts, good food, music, go to the 13 mile arts and crafts loop. Good handmade items. Expensive, but high quality items, keepsakes. We just love the smokeys in the fall. Go see it. Wonderful.
