“REAL artist here”

Great 8 mile loop of wonderful artist plying their trade. Since most items are hand made, painted, thrown, expect to pay full price. This is not made in China junk.

“Shopper's paradise”
Reviewed April 17, 2013

If you plan on driving the 8-mile loop, stop by the brochure area on the side of the Sky Lift building. There will be a brochure (with map) detailing all of the different stores and locations. We love driving along the loop and always find the most amazing stores.

“A little difficult to shop”
Reviewed April 13, 2013

I love to shop at local shops but this community of arts and crafts was a little difficult to shop because it is so spread out. It would be nicer if the shops were closer together so that you could park your car and then walk to more shops. Nice concept but too spread out.

“Unique Gift Ideas”
Reviewed April 10, 2013

It is a bit spread out, but mainly on two roads, and well marked. The Trolley goes up to it if you don't want to drive. There are places to eat, ice cream, and drinks places also. Must sees are Alewine Pottery, The Wood Whittler's and the Vern Hippensteal and Jim Gray Galleries. Many unique gift ideas-pottery, stained glass, art, carved wood items and more. Off the beaten path, but so worth it.
