“Wonderful vacation cabin. We never wanted to leave!”

My husband and I stayed in the Tree House cabin for our tenth anniversary. I really can't think of another place I've ever stayed, anywhere, that we enjoyed more. We looked forward to coming back to 'our' cabin each night. We felt very spoiled. The cabin was warmly decorated and we loved the personal touches like the anniversary cake in the refrigerator (Thank you!). The setting was gorgeous and felt so private - you would never know how close you are to Gatlinburg. Everything in the cabin was set up for relaxation - we watched the sun set from the deck, and we read books in the screened-in porch, and we soaked sore muscles in the hot tub, and we had a cozy dinner in the little kitchen.

We also really liked the location. We wanted to see the national park every day, and the Tree House cabin was an easy drive to the Sugarlands and Greenbrier entrances. You could avoid most of the Gatlinburg traffic to get to both.

Normally we just view our hotel or B&B as a place to rest our heads, that what we're really on vacation for is outside of the lodging. But the cabin was very much a part of our vacation experience. It was kind of sad to leave it. We felt very refreshed after our stay there. It raised the bar on what I look for in a vacation cabin.

“A MUST STAY PLACE!!”

My husband and I visited back in January. I know I am late writing....busy life! This was a great place to visit and stay. The owners went out of their way to make us feel at home. It was our Anniversary and my husband's birthday. When we arrived there were snacks, a cake, and a bottle of grape juice for us. That was above and beyond! We had a wonderful time enjoying each other's company! We never saw the owners but they were available if we needed them. We hope to return one day when our lives calm down enough to enjoy some much needed rest! Please don't hesitate to go there. We stayed at the Treehouse and toured the Creekside cabin. Both were well cared for and very private!

“Perfect romantic get-away!”

My husband and I recently spent 4 nights at Bear's Trail cabin and it was more than we ever hoped for. The cabin was immaculate, cozy, charming and beautiful. The scene had been set prior to our arrival with iced champagne, fresh strawberries, fresh flowers and romantic music playing -- and Godiva chocolates were on our pillows!
The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed (plus more!) and we were thrilled to find a huge fresh red tomato waiting for us on the counter. We told Lise (one of the owners) that we loved tomaotes and were looking forward to sharing it (or maybe fighting over it!). Imagine our surpise when a bowl of 6 beautiful tomatoes arrived magically on our porch the next day -- we truly planned our meals around them! This is simply one example of the level of service and personalization that you can expect from a stay at Bear's Trail.
We watched humming birds on the porches, had a wild turkey come to visit our cabin, soaked in the totally private hot tub, saw a momma bear and two cubs just outside of Cade's Cove (WOW!) and went on several hikes (The "strenuous" hike to Ramsey's Cascade is truly strenuous so be sure to take some water and trail mix, but it is worth every step when you finally get to the top and get to see the falls).
The cabin, the location, the owner's attention to detail all make this an incredible destination. We loved Bear's Trail and will be back! Look no further - you've found your cabin!

“Absolutely loved this cabin!!”

Thanks to all of the excellent Trip Advisor reviews concerning Stonecreek Cabins we finally found the perfect cabin, Bears Trail. We agree with everyone else. If you can get a Stonecreek Cabin go for it. You will not be disappointed. Bears Trail is a great location. It is between downtown and the 8 mile Arts and Crafts Community. Even though it would be considered semi-private because there are other cabins on the road, it is still very private. You're surrounded by trees and it is very peaceful.
We arrived with music playing, champagne on ice and a personalized wedding anniversary cake and card. The owners go the extra mile to make your stay very special and memorable. They are helpful, friendly and down to earth.
Bear's Trail is fairly new, decorated very tastefully and extremely clean. The bedroom is a cabin within a cabin and even has stained glass skylights. There are alot of unique, beautiful and fun features to this cabin,.
Even though I will want to try Creekside and the Treehouse cabins at some point it will be hard to talk my husband out of staying at Bear's Trail again and I can definitely be talked into that. We have absolutely loved staying here.

“Peaceful Escape is Just the Beginning”

I would highly recommend any one of their cabins for a vacation. The owners were extremely nice and helpful. We stayed in the treehouse cabin which was cozy and beautiful. When we arrived there were nice personal touches that made us feel at home, such as champaigne, godiva chocolate, snacks, and refreshments. It was so peaceful and beautiful, we did not want to go home. There were directions from the cabin to any desired point around the area. Anyway, the personal touches are endless to mention and the owners make you feel like family. This is the place to be for your Gatlinburg vacation.

Whether you are looking for a getaway where you see no one or a home base while taking in all of the attractions, Stonecreek Cabins can meet your needs. It is located off the beaten path but close to everything. The accommodations are clean, beautiful and there is great attention to detail. You feel welcome and at home from the moment you arrive being greeted by sparkling wine and quiet music for you, along with treats for your animal companions if you are traveling with them. We were definitely not ready to leave and will be coming back as soon as we can.

“Little patch of paradise”

Bear Trail's Cabin is one of those places that you don't know whether to keep quiet about so it does not get spoiled and so that you have a chance of booking it again in the future - or share the wealth about because it's the decent thing to do. I decided to share the wealth.

I took my daughter for a week of hiking and touring in Tennessee for spring break to mark her graduation from high school. It was a quick trip but we allocated three nights to stay in the cabin which is just outside of downtown Gatlinburg. We were very dubious about the whole adventure after driving through Pigeon Forge - and counting the Go Karts, Pancake Parlours, mini-golf courses, souvenir and sex shops. WOW! So when we left Pigeon Forge behind and drove into the state forest and headed towards Gatlinburg we were starting to feel much better. When we found our cabin and let ourselves in - everything else just disappeared. We were so delighted with the place - it was just perfect. Clean, beautifully equipped, private, and stocked with wonderful thoughtful treats.

We did a fabulous hike along the Appalachian trail one day- and another long day hike in the lowlands another day. Unfortunately we did not even get into Gatlinburg to explore because we were so focussed on trying to see what we could of the Great Smoky Natl Park in our limited stay. We could have spent a week easily.

Love this cabin. The owners do a beautiful job. I cannot wait to come back again. Practically cried when we left.
