In Gatlinburg, parking is difficult, so we ended up driving a little bit away from the busiest areas of town when we wanted to eat. This restaurant is on the way out of town if you're heading toward Pigeon Forge, or on the way in, if you're coming from Pigeon Forge. It's set back a little from the road, but it is a good sized restaurant with plenty of free parking right out front. We were there early on a Saturday morning, and we didn't have any wait for a table. Our server came right over and took our order, and we got our food very quickly. I ordered an omelette, and it was delicious. We'd been to another Flapjacks location earlier in our trip, and the food there was good, but here it was even better. The omelette came with grits, and a side of buttermilk pancakes. It was a good meal, and I left completely satisfied. I drank coffee, and this is a place that leaves the coffee pot on the table, so that was convenient. My son had a grilled cheese sandwich, and there's really no way to go wrong with that type of order, but they made it extra special by putting grill marks on the bread. There's a gift shop attached, so after dining, we wandered through the gift shop and bought a few small items. Overall, this was the best meal we had in Gatlinburg.
