Not the nicest hotel I've ever been to, but certainly not the worst. Rates were reasonable and our loft rooms were spacious and accommodating. Additionally, there is some covered parking which is great! We visited during a convention and we were on the top floor, so it probably was no surprise we could not get hot water for showering in the morning. However, there was plenty at night. Only other downside was that our rooms were "locked out" by 10:30am. When we returned at 10:30am to put the rest of our things in the car, the door keys no longer worked. We were able to get a housekeeper to let us in, but it was a bit irritating to have to bother. Overall, we have stayed here before and will likely stay here again.

Room Tip: The loft rooms are optimal for location, space and entertainment (2 tvs in the room), especially if...

The first room they put us in was room 137 the door was falling off the hinges like it had been kicked in. The shower fixtures were secured to the shower wall with some kind of plastic board and held on with caulking "falling off" the hotel did up grade us and move us to a different bigger king size room but with no fire place. Over all there are much nicer hotels in the area for less, like the bearskin lodge right behind the hotel. This hotel is in need of some major renovations and repairs. The website photos of this place are very misleading/deceiving and you get trapped by booking in advance with their no cancellation policy. Over all a very bad experience, very over priced, will not be receiving any new business with me.

Room Tip: Stay away from 137

This was a great deal if your trying to save money, but this hotel definitely needs to be updated. As soon as we walked into our room it was like walking into a freezer. It took hours for it to warm up. The only thing that I did enjoy was the continental breakfast that they offered.

This was our first time and definently last staying at this hotel. First, the elevator had the worst smell and felt like it was going to breakdown at any time. Room was small but that was ok. Our kids were excited about the indoor pool but when we went the door was locked. Asked the front desk about the pool and we were told that the pool had been "broke" since the day before. We should have been told this at check-in considering we asked the front desk where the pool was located. We had to push the button several times on the light fixture between beds for the light to come on. Then lights came on in the middle of the night while we were all sleeping. This is just a few issues. To many to list. The worst part for me was while packing up, I sat on the bed and a roach crawled across my hand. Expressed my concerns to the front desk after being asked how was our stay and only got a "sorry"..

My boyfriend and I had spent a day and a half there. Being my first time in tennessee I had an amazing time. We both enjoyed our stay very much. Gatlinburg is a beautiful place and the days inn is a very reasonable place to stay.the hotel was clean and the workers were very pleasent. Especially Wendy

I don't even want to rate this hotel because it was that bad! As soon as we pulled in we knew it was unkept inside and out. There was garbage stashed in the underground parking lot, the elevator was leaking hydraulic oil (could smell it big time) The 1st room we were assigned we had to get in from the outside patio and that wouldn't even light up to get to the room. We asked for a room that we can get to from the inside and that room alone was disgusting and unsatisfactory. The heater was covered in dirt and wouldn't even turn on, the carpets were badly stained, the curtains were falling off the rod and were filthy and wouldn't even close. The doors and locks were not durable and unsafe. The whole hotel is a health and safety and the health board needs to be called. We got there late at night from a long drive and we had to leave and find another place. It was a huge inconvenience esp at 12:30 a.m. I highly recommend not to go to this hotel. You will regret it! Now I am waiting to get my full refund back from hotel . com. Only got 2 nights so far and waiting on 1 more. Lesson learned, don't settle for cheap even if it is 3.5 out of the reviews. You get what you pay for!! The only good thing I can say is it is located on a nice strip but that is it!!
