We had a good time at this hotel! It was nice a clean and it was convenient for walking distance shops and other activities in the area.
The only thing we didn’t like was the pool view room because of the smell of the pool was very strong and it bothered us on our stay. Other than that we were very satisfied with our stay.

We vistas this place back in November of 2017 but the thing wouldn’t let me pick the date.

We had a top floor room facing the street.the building is old but our room was updated and clean.the balcony is small but it's big enough for two to sit comfortably.
The lobby is open to the ceiling and the pool is off the lobby and there is a very strong smell of chlorine starting about the 2nd floor. There are rooms that face the pool, atrium area . Please know if you can't take that strong smell get a room that faces away from this. The rooms facing this area also have balconies and look down or at the pool. Humid and noisy too. So glad we faced the street.
The people in the next room were smoking on their balcony ,I called front desk and they took care of it right away.
The hotel is close to the main Street it's up a small hill and a easy walk. The street is near the sky Needle. The main Street is crowded and parking is hard to get. It was much easier to get around from the hotel and we are glad our hotel was not on the main street. The breakfast is a buffet and is well worth it.

The hotel is about 2 blks from strip n Gatlinburg & short distance to entrance to Smokey Mts. This is older property that has been well kept. Rooms are clean, nice size with mini fridge & microwave. Beds were comfy. Plenty of linensvthatvwere soft & didntvreek of bleach. The balcony was nice & looked out toward a lovely Episcopal church. Plenty of parking & there is no park for fee to general public. The pool was a great size with 2 levels & waterfall. The chlorine was very strong! Staff were friendly. Lobby is spacious with nice seating areas. Enjoyed the stay & would definitely recommend.

We spent one night at this hotel on our recent visit to Great Smoky Mountains National Park.

There were aspects of this hotel that we liked, but other some other aspects that were not our speed.

The things we liked:

Although this hotel is clearly older, we found the room to be adequate for our needs and very clean. The shower was excellent, with very good water pressure. The room also featured a mini-fridge, which is a big plus.

Our 2 children particularly enjoyed the indoor pool, which we found to be quite impressive for a hotel pool.

The hotel is very conveniently located to Great Smoky Mountains National Park. It is also within walking distance of the main drag in Gatlinburg, though the walk back to the hotel is all uphill. The check-in and check-out processes were smooth.

The things that were not our favorite:

Like many older hotels, this property has exterior corridors, which are not what we prefer. We also found the hotel to have thin walls, such that we could hear some noise both from neighboring rooms and from outside.

There were a few minor maintenance issues that we noticed: one of the screws on our toilet seat was loose or missing, and the heating/AC unit was unusually noisy (too noisy to use while sleeping).

Overall, this hotel met our needs and was fine for a night. If I were returning to the area, I would probably look at other options first but would not rule out a staying here again if the price was right.

Thank you for taking the time to post a review. We are happy to hear that you found satisfaction in our cleanliness, comfort and prime location. Our staff always do their best to accommodate our guests; I wish you would have asked to be moved to an interior room if you didn't like your location. It's a choice of taste, some really enjoy the exterior rooms. I hope you reported the issue with your A/C unit to allow us to take appropriate action so that our future guests do not have the same experience. We hope you'll choose to stay with us again next time you are coming to Gatlinburg.
