My boyfriend and I stayed at the Diamond Mine cabin and it was wonderful! The cabin looked clean, new, big, and cozy! The inside amenities were awesome - I didn't expect to have filtered water in the fridge, all sorts of nice kitchen and cooking tools and devices, a really easily-managed gas fireplace, big eating table, big bathrooms, a nice propane BBQ grill, patio furniture, and a cozy hot tub (second floor balcony). The cabin had everything we needed to relax, wine and dine, lounge around, and de-stress. The tvs all had DVD players and the beds were so comfortable! We couldn't have asked for anything more out of this place!

Also we had plenty of privacy due to the way the cabins were angled and placed. The view out back into the woods was beautiful, and so was the view of the stars at night from the hot tub. We definitely recommend this place to others and plan to come back!

A group of eight (4 couples) stayed in the 4-bedroom Southern Comfort cabin this past weekend. The cabin was clean and had everything you could ask for - clean, ample linen and kitchenware. Everyone in our group was pleased with their accommodations. I suggest bringing a small space heater (or two) for the bedroom(s) downstairs - if you are cold natured and visit during the Winter months.

Room Tip: The bedroom on the top floor has the most privacy.

We had a wonderful time at "Bearfoot Memories". The cabin was everything we expected and more. The interior of the cabin was well maintained and clean. The view even in winter was absolutely beautiful. Relaxation was the plan for us and this was an excellent place to unwind. Loved it and time to leave came way too soon.

Room Tip: Excellent cabin. Very private.

Pros: The cabin was beautiful and we had space for 8 of us to spread out. The 3 King size beds were nice and comfortable and had plenty of pillows on them. The kitchen was small but functional and had beautiful appliances in it.

Cons: The first night we were there we went to dinner and when we came back 3 iPads had been stolen from our cabin. We immediately called the resort number and the guy told us he would call the police and come out. He did come to just check around and see if there was anything broken or damaged that he needed to address. That put a damper on our stay for sure. After dealing with all of that it was really late when we started getting settled for bed only to realize there were no sheets for the sleeper sofas. So we called again. No answer so we left a message thinking they would get right back to us. So we spent the first night having to make do with no sheets for the extra beds. Gross to think of sleeping on a pillow with no pillow case. I assumed they would call or bring sheets the next morning. Not so. So we called again to request sheets only to have them ask us "did you look in the closets for extras?" Duh - yeah we never thought of that. Of course we did. Later that day someone called to ask how our stay was? Well other than a theft and no sheets, great! I was just surprised that they had not communicated that we had some issues. At that time the lady promised she would have sheets sent over and when we returned to the cabin that afternoon they were there. So thank you for that. The only other things to be aware of are privacy. The cabins themselves are in a row pretty close together so there is little privacy. The pictures make them look like they are all private and secluded. And the cabins are log cabins so don't expect a lot of privacy within the cabins. They are very noisy between levels and rooms. My kids, who slept on the bottom level, found it hilarious that they could hear whoever went into the bathroom do their business on the middle level. To the point that they would call out whoever didn't wash their hands. I also find it very odd and unsettling to never be able to reach a person. You almost exclusively get just a machine when you call.

Recently my boyfriend and I stayed in the "Secret Garden" with another couple and it was absolutely amazing! The cabin was beautiful, super clean, and the view was phenomenal. We didn't want to leave. We will be back!
