Owner description: This small church was built in 1925 and has a great view of the Tetons.

This is a beautiful little church. The view from the altar window is unbelievable. Words cannot describe how you feel when you look out that window with the cross and the Tetons in the background. It makes an amazing picture. You feel absolute serenity when you are in the church looking out the altar window. You definitely feel God and the beauty He created when you are here. Make sure you check this little church out when you visit.

Watch the movie Spencer's Mountain with Henry Fonda and Maureen O'Hara, then go to this chapel. You'll wonder how 100 people came out of that little chapel in the movie. Ring the bell, look at the Tetons through the inside chapel window. Sit and meditate. Say a prayer. Renew your marriage vows. The opportunities are endless. Check out Menor's Ferry while you're nearby and check out their little store.

A small, beautiful Episcopalian chapel, open to the public, charming, spiritual in it's dark log cabin atmosphere, with some
lovely stained glass and an awe inspiring view behind the altar of the Teton mountain range. The feeling I always
experience here is tranquility. The chapel has been witness to
all the range of human life--christenings, marriages and funeral
carriages, to paraphrase an old poem, and somehow, it always seems that it will be alright, that God is near.

walking up to the chapel, take time to ring the bell. this will help clear your thoughts and let in the beauty that unfolds before you. one of my favorite times is at dawn when mornings first light kisses the mountains and the fog swirls around the Tetons.

really just sets the stage for your vacation into GT and YNP. I'm not the least bit religious and I go to GTNP at least two or three times a month and stop here at least once a month just to get a good view. The church is really a neat building. It's not any sort of architectural genius like the chateaus or houses of parliament, it's classic western that's almost 100 years old.
