We headed over to the Fish Market on a whim after touring the North House and had a blast shopping and taste testing. They had a great selection to offer. We also noted they were about the only place we found to buy fresh fish and talked to family friends who are also old time residents who told us they have the best deals too. Fun place to visit.

We drove up here from Beaver Bay just to check on the possibility of having some smoked fish sent back home to Tennessee. We had a nice lunch, and one of the owners came over to chat with us. She was very nice and gave us advice on how they ship their fish.
Everyone was extremely friendly. It was worth the 50 mile drive, and we will be ordering some smoked fish for our July 4th holiday!

Went here based on the other reviewers recommendation of their fish and chips. The food was good, not a long wait. The dining area is very small, so if it is busy, expect to eat outside or take the food to go. Prices were average. Overall, pretty good.

I had the smelt fish and chips and the wife had the walleye fish and chips. I had never had smelt before and I was very impressed. It was very light and tasty. I then made the mistake of having a piece of the walleye. WOW, I am an avid fish eater and this was some of the best I have ever had. We sat out back on the small deck and watched some craftsman building canoes in a nearby building which had a bunch of seagulls perched on the roofline. It was a great atmosphere for lunch.
