Let me begin by admitting my personal bias: I like almost all Dairy Queen restaurants that I visit. This one was no exception. The "hot eats and cool treats" were what I have come to expect from a Dairy Queen. The menu items and prices were typical for a Dairy Queen. Thus, they are a relatively inexpensive dining (or snack) option--when compared to most other North Shore dining opportunities..
This is one of the few restaurants (along the North Shore} that belongs to a nationally-recognized chain. Its menu selections are kid friendly.
My only criticisms: The place could be a bit bigger--especially the indoor dining area. The parking is somewhat limited. Although the restaurant is not ancient, it could perhaps benefit from a bit of an upgrade or remodel. It seems a bit "dated".
In the end, this place has the menu items and prices that you expect from a Dairy Queen. If you are traveling with kids--that can be a good thing.
