“Great place to buy local fresh caught Lake Trout and Herring”
Reviewed August 1, 2014

The fishing boats come in to this place each day and their fresh Lake Superior fish are the main attraction for us. The fish and chips as pretty good, but not as good as taking the Herring, Whitefish, or Lake Trout fillets back to the camp fire and enjoying.

“Disappointed”
Reviewed July 30, 2014

My husband and I stopped here because it looked like a great place to get some local seafood. We were so disappointed. We ordered the walleye baskets and they were so full of bones that neither my husband nor I could eat them. Not to mention, it sure wasn't cheap. What a bummer.

“Best fish basket in Grand Marais!!”
Reviewed July 29, 2014

We love this place! We get a great whitefish or walleye basket for lunch, and take some smoked fish with us for later!! This year we even got a bag of the light and tasty fish breading to try out at home.

“A little "Fishy"”
Reviewed July 27, 2014

A great place to pick up fresh or smoked fish. Also known for their "fish and chips" baskets; the only hot meal available. Conveniently located along Hwy. 61 as you enter Grand Marais (next to the Angry Trout Cafe).

“Fish Lovers Stop Here”
Reviewed July 16, 2014

Good old variety of fish and chips with fish for purchase to take home for cooking. Little deli with salads and desserts but this place is for fish lovers primarily. I am going back. No hesitation.
