Serious bird watchers flock to this place, but you don't have to be one to enjoy it. The landscape is gorgeous, and the feeling peaceful and serene. It's a 12-mile drive around the perimeter (no trails). Go slow and stop often to enjoy the sights - and also the birdsong with frog accompaniment. Best times to go are early morning or towards dusk.
