If you are in a hurry, and there are a ton of people inside like there were when we were there, don't worry--they are FAST. The sandwiches are good, not great. Mint brownie very tasty. No complaints.

In 24 hours we ate here 3 times;; we were looking for something light, fast, healthy. First, we went in for a sandwich at mid-day. The ordering process is quick and easy if you take time to look at their boards, then find the slips to fill out. Our sandwiches were so fresh and the turkey was good. The whole thing was delicious. The homemade soups were warming and filling and felt so healthy. Then we had to have one of their cinnamon buns! Raisins and nuts on the interior made it extra special. Yummy. Later we had their pizza. It was OK but bland; we are used to NY style, loaded with flavor. The fruit filled tarts that we took for breakfast the following day made us wish we had purchased more to take on the road as we continued our travels. We DID take along a loaf of white bread and a loaf of potato-jalapeno for toast on the road! We're trying not to eat it all in a day or two but to make it last.

If you like bread and other bakery products, this place will please you. But if you just want a good fresh sandwich and really good soup, it is also the place for you.

Most of the staff people that take your order were at least friendly and some were more helpful and extra friendly.

Tables and floors were clean and the décor is sort of antique-y and homey.

So glad we stopped here on our trip! Fresh, wonderful bread and bagels at reasonable prices. Sis and I each had a great chicken salad sandwich on fabulous multi-grain bread with chips, shared a huge delicious cookie and got change back from a $10 bill!! Liked the multigrain bread so much we each bought a loaf to take with us.

It is casual, order at a counter, etc.. You can fill out a form to design exactly what you want on your sandwich, with options for soup and cookie!

Get off at the 1100 exit, go toward the closest mountains and take a left at the first stoplight. It's tucked back a little, but sooooo much better than fast food for a great price.

We ate here for the first time this week. The quality of the food was very good and I was pleasantly pleased at the prices. Combos were in the $5 range for full sandwich, $4 range for half sandwich. Cookies and treats just $1.

The only bothersome thing was the cleanliness of the restaurant. The area around the fountain drinks was especially messy. It was lunch time, so perhaps the employees were just busy. But either way I was uncomfortable once I saw the messy counter. Would have been a 5 star review otherwise.
