“Even not polite”
Reviewed July 5, 2013

It has been our worst experience in the US this year (we were in 8 different hotels). We arrived around 2:30 (June 18th) at the front desk, there were two women, one was on the phone, the other not. The one on the phone, without stopping to talk, took the sheet I had in my hands and began to read. When she hung up, she didn't look at me, she didn't tell me anything neither hello, nor good afternoon, nothing... She was looking at her computer without any comment. I told her, we asked a quiet room at a high level if possible. She replied "I have one you will not have anybody above". In fact, she gave us a room in the lower building, at the first floor without elevator (we are 64 years old both, and we were travelling for nearly one month, so with heavy luggage). When we arrived in the room we saw that we were the first in the corridor, right next to the ice and vending machines, and right above the very heavy main door of the building which was making a loud noise when it closed (it was beginning at 5:30 in the morning to 11:00 in the night !). What gift (room 150)! We have to add we had paid for a Canyon view. This room had no view on the Canyon, because there was a building hiding on the right and some trees in front of the window. We didn't say anything, we were there three nights and we didn't want to have to move and to lose time with that, but it is not the first time it is like that with Marriott (I am a member !). We thought that this woman should change of job, because at the front desk, the minimum is to be polite. The room was correct and clean.

Room Tip: Avoid room 150 and don't pay to get a "canyon view", the ones on the pool are less exp...

our family of four stayed here 3 nights in June. It was a great choice and location. it was close enough to the marinas we visited -waheap and antelope point, as well as antelope canyon and glen canyon dam. the pool and hottub were in good shape as well as a nice oudoor seating area. breakfast was supeior to most courtyards with an omelette station and great service. the hotel itself is very nicely decorated in western matif.i would highly recommend.

We had two nights at this hotel and the standard of the room and general condition was very good indeed. Staff were friendly and helpful at the front desk. Location was exactly what we expected so it was just out of town. Good pool area. Breakfast was included and was good however one of the waitresses left a lot to be desired. We ad hardly sat down before she had told us twice that we had to leave a tip because it was not included in the price. We were then told "how it works" and were given a bill with her idea of what the tip should be already on it - that part is common practice with all of the breakfast staff there. Leaves a very poor impression. We used the restaurant in the evenings and the staff were friendly enough and the food was fine but it lacked atmosphere - it was our choice to eat here so I would not condemn the hotel for that. Would i stay here again -yes, because the positives outweigh the negatives

Arrived at the Courtyard Page at Lake Powell and received a less than warm welcome. Nothing in this hotel appeared to work; the lobby, hallways and vending areas were hot and uncomfortable. The elevator was slow and if not for the stairs I might still be waiting on the 4th floor. When we got in our room we immediately noticed that it was hot. We decided to wait to see if the air conditioner would ever get the room to a comfortable level and after 30-45 sweaty minutes we decided to contact the front desk to see if they would just move us to another room. Instead they sent up a Maintenance guy who agreed that yes the room was hot and that the air conditioner was broken. After another 10 very uncomfortable minutes he returned with a brand new air conditioner and within 10-15 minutes, with my help, we had the thing installed. Another 30 minutes passed and our room never got any cooler. I walked back down to the front desk and asked to be swapped to another room, which they did. We rejoiced when we walked into our new room to find that the room temperature was comfortable. Home run.......except now the toilet didn't work. I fiddled with it and found that the handle was loose and needed to be tightened and that the water valve needed to be slightly adjusted. Easy fixes, so I let it go. Also, the Internet worked in our new room where we could not even connect in our first room.

All things fixed and inside a now truly air conditioned room we were now content until we discovered that our mattress was extremely worn out and leaned hard to one side. Even the bed that our kids were sleeping on did this. We cut our trip by a day and moved on to Williams, Arizona where our next hotel was far better, the town more hospitable and the scenery more enjoyable.

I'm a Marriott Platinum Elite member having spent nearly 60 days in their hotels in the past year and I simply cannot give this hotel any kind of positive recommendations. It's not like anyone was rude, just not as interested in taking care of their guest's like other hotels that I've stayed with. Very disappointed with this recent stay.

Room Tip: If after reading my review of this hotel you still choose to stay here I recommend a first floor roo...

Nothing particularly negative or positive to say. Nothing really stood out good or bad except a really nice attentive waitress, Patricia. TV didn't work, was reported and not fixed/replaced in the three days following but, I don't go on vacation and watch TV. Seeing the news would have been nice. Kids liked the pool area. Restaurant was good though a bit pricey but most hotel restaurants are on the high side. Solid breakfast buffet. Only room I saw was mine but I have no complaints, quite satisfactory.

Stayed here for 3 nights in June. Great location, close to town and antelope canyon. Room was a nice size and very clean. Beds were comfortable. Room was a little loud with the air conditioner running all the time. Only one elevator but we took the stairs all the time, except when carrying the luggage. Can't comment on the restaurants as we ate out. Pool was cool and there were NO lounge chairs. The website picture clearly shows lounge chairs by the pool but all they had were regular outdoor sit up straight table chairs. Who wants to sit in those?

Thank you for taking the time to review your recent stay with us. I apologize for there not being any pool lounge chairs while you stayed with us. Your stay happened to fall within the 2-3 day period where we were in the process of replacing/repairing all of our lounge chairs. Now that they have all been repaired and replaced, our pool area is equipped with plenty of furniture for our guests. I hope that the rest of your stay was enjoyable and we look forward to having you stay with us again if you're ever in the Page area!

Stayed here twice, great place to recoup, wash your clothes while you swim in the pool. Fill up the ice cooler. Has it all, ice machines, laundry m/cs, good pool, wi fi, coffee m/c, fridge, a balcony and so on. Restaurant wasjust ok and a little $$. Found a great Thai/Indian in town 2nd stay - surprised just how good it was. In the hotel I asked for fresh milk for my morning coffee wanted to charge me $2 seemed steep to me so I went without.
