Everything good that you have read about this tour is true. Our guide, Cedrick, was personable, helpful, and knowledgeable. The Wednesday tour after Memorial Day weekend was not crowded and we were able to move to an earlier tour rather than wait for our appointed one. The canyon was amazing and beautiful. We would love to take this tour again in the future.
Absolutely loved our tour through Lower Antelope Canyon with Dixie Ellis' Tours. Our guide was insightful and filled us in on the history of Lower Antelope while making sure that we saw all of the sites within the slot canyon.
Only pros for this tour: We were in a small group of 6, we were not rushed through the canyon and our guide made sure we were taken care of when it came to taking photos.
When you head to Lower Antelope, I'd strongly recommend Dixie Ellis.
We had a tour of the lower canyon. Our tourguide Arlondo was great. He manager to talk the waiting/moving times on to one another. Used my camera a lot so had some great pictures to complete my set. Would recommend!
Our Labor Day tour with Kendrick Bennett was the highlight of our Arizona trip. Kendrick made our wait into the Canyon enjoyable and informative. He spent a lot of time with us so we could get awesome photos. With our smaller group we were able to experience the Canyon without rushing. We'll recommend this stop to our friends and family.
I took expert pics with my iPhone 6--truly unbelievable!! We were blessed to get Dom, as others have mentioned, so see if you can ask for him at the "ticket window" when you check in. He was spectacular (other guides were asking his opinion and he did a couple of geo demonstrations, was fun and thoughtful). We'll never forget this experience--and here's my best advice, shared by the reservationist I talked to prior to going and also Dom, 8:00-10:00am is the best time at Lower Canyon. Even on Sunday of Labor Day weekend, it wasn't crowded yet or hot yet and the purples and blues (in addition to orange, yellow, red) were awesome!!! He said that especially in the hot months, an average of 20 people faint from the long que lines in the heat! Go early if you can but don't miss this opportunity!
we were here on labor day weekend but it was so crowded so we came back here next day and in our group there were 6 people and accompanied by amazing guide Joanna, he had good knowledge how canyons were formed and showed us with sand... he was photographer also was patient enough to take atleast 100 pictures..about these canyons entrance is 100 feet deep narrow stairs not tough to climb down rest is all flat but tight space here and there but definitely worth it ... we loved this when compared to upper antlope tour which was from other company...
