My first visit to Lake Powell from Kentucky. Amazing lake! The restaurant is beautiful, but there are spiders ALL OVER THE PLACE!!!! I would have loved to eat outside but the webs and huge spiders scared me away. We actually had to kill a few spiders climbing up the wall on the inside of the restaurant! Other than that, food was good and lake is beautiful!

They need to do something about the spiders. There where to many spiders to even sit outside to enjoy the view and even sitting inside ended up having to deal with three other spiders. They say they do not bit but I ended up with a spider bit.
SOMETHING NEEDED TO BE DONE!!!

After you park, you can take a golf cart ride down to the floating restaurant, or you can walk down; best be in shape to walk. You can sit in air conditioning, or outside to see the boats come and go. You can have as little as an cone, or as much as a full course meal. It is worth the time to see such an original lakeside restaurant. There is a wading pond so you can cool off! The food is OK. It's worth the sights.

Our plan was to rent kayaks but we settled for a jet ski...$150 minimum for 2 hrs for two plus $20 for gas...we trekked most of the way into Navajo Canyon..a bit choppy ride but a spectacular experience. The marina is exceptional..great way to beat a hot day
