Except for the large crowds, it's worth the small hike. The view is fantastic. The hike is a bit steep on way back - if over 50 years of age and don't hike much, take your time. Parking area is not too large so plan accordingly - recommend mornings between 7-10 a.m.

I had thought the viewing area was closer to the road but the 3/4 mike walk wasn’t all that hard if you are in decent shape. There’s no shade so bring water. It was super windy when I went so you might want to bring something to protect your face from blowing sand. It’s painful. The view is spectacular but there’s currently no railing which is nice but also scary. People get super close to get good pics and it’s a little unsettling how easy it would be to fall especially with the strong winds the day I was there. They are building a viewing area which will be a more safe way to view it.

You can park free at this tourist spot. It is about a 10-15 min walk from the car park and not a hard walk at all.

Glad I've seen it in person. It's exactly what you'd think and see in pictures. I'm excited for their new pavilion areas which will be excellent for shade!

Please please please bring water in a reusable bottle.

The view is spectacular. We've seen the one outside of Moab...much better, because you're higher so it's safer to view. This one is closer so the people crowd to right at the edge to take photos and selfies. I found it unnerving and very dangerous with all the people scurrying about. The walk down is strenuous....a long way down and then back up. Hopefully, with the new construction, they'll put in guard rails.
