“great food in a great atmosphere”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 26, 2012

This restaurant is a bit pricey, but the view, food and service make it worth the price. We had a table overlooking Lake Powell. The prime rib was cooked just right, with lots of flavor, and the service was very good.

“Great view, not so great food and service”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 10, 2012

We wanted to eat here when we checked into the hotel only to find out they were closed and would not reopen for dinner in a couple hours. With that we ate in the bar area of the same restaurant. The service was slow , the food was just ok. The view out the window overlooking the lake was the best part about this place. That being said you can skip the meal and just go outside and see the view . Later that night we went passed here again and saw the hordes of people and the long lines . I would say skip this place and eat somewhere elce.

“SERVICE?”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 10, 2012

Our reservation was made for 6 p.m. The restaurant was not exceptionally crowded. The server didn't acknowledge our table for at least 15 minutes. Finally he took our drink order. One in the group order a soda. He brought the drinks, but forgot the soda.

After another wait he started to take our dinner order, without bringing the soda. In the midst of taking our order, he stopped to serve another table their dinner. He then came back to finish our orders. When our dinners came out he didn't serve them; another member of the wait staff served the order. He did mess up one of the orders bringing entirely different dinner than the one that was ordered. We were very disappointed in the service. The food was expensive for what you got.

“You gotta pick your time!”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 19, 2012

When we went to make a dinner reservation at 6PM, there was already a 1 3/4 hour wait. We went to the bar next door. This is par for the course. If you don't get your reservation in before the bus tour operators, you going to starve waiting. On the other hand, we have gotten in on past occasions, and the food was very good but overpriced.
We ate breakfast here on our second day (Bus tourists don't get up very early). It was a very good, if unremarkable breakfast buffet, and the service was fast, friendly and efficient.

“Very expensive”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 17, 2012

We had dinner here while staying at the Lake Powell Resort. Unfortunately there is no choice, and we were too tired to drive to Page. The room is never full. I think they accept costumers based on the waiters they have: both nights, when we arrived the room was less than half full, and they asked us to come back in 30-40 minutes (we had not reserved). First of all, it's not a family friendly place. After looking at the menu, I realized that my 11yo daughter was not going to eat anything of the very sofisticated dishes listed there. So I asked to the manager for the children's menu, and I was told that they serve the childrens menu up to 10yo. Our waiter saved us, getting for us some chicken strips (from the children's menu). The second night again a different waiter saved us, allowing me to share a plain steak with my daughter. Everything is very expensive, and dishes pretend to be very refined and elegant. The view is terrific, but it is the same we had from our room. On the positive side: bread was very good, and both nights we had very very attentive and helpful waiters.
