We visited the Upper Antelope Canyon. I have no words to express how beautiful it was. Never seen such amazing natural formation before. Colors depend on how the sunlight falls through the holes.
Our guide, a very kind young Navajo girl (shame on me I don't remember her name) helped us taking photos by showing us the best spots or taking really cool photos of us. She as well made a little demonstration with sand and a bottle of water on how the canyon was formed and how it is changing continuously.
One very negative point: they let far too many groups in the canyon at the same time so it is almost impossible to take proper pictures with yourselves being in the picture
and without people walking into it or being in the background. Some parts are very narrow so it is difficult to pass when there are people coming from the opposite direction.

Our guide, Lori, did a super job! She even helped some experienced photographers get the correct camera settings to obtain incredible photos!

I nearly never write a 1 star review, however it is just so dissapointing what has happened to an otherwise spectacular canyon. We went in the afternoon and the canyon was completely packed, and the guides could care less but to just push you along and rush you back out for the next group behind you. There were multiple times we couldn't take photos cause the guide was yelling at us to move along. Don't get me wrong, the canyon is 5 stars, but the tours are down right awful.

While in Page in June we wanted to take once again the Antelope Canyon tour.
Unfortunately everything was booked out. We had done this tour several times in the past and were sorry it did not work out this time. If you intend to make this tour pleasedo reserve way ahead of time (several months). The best hour to visit is between 10 am and 13 pm. That's when the sun comes in at a right angle and shines over the wavy sides of the rock. Just too nice for words. You always have to go with a guide Don't use your flash when making photos.....

After having done the Navajo Tour in May 2018 HAD to return with my husband. Zach was a wonderful soft spoken guide who made the trip extra special even though it was a much visited time due to the light at 11AM. Yes,it is crowded. It is a spectacular natural site that many wish to see. DO NOT MISS IT!
