Sherry was an amazing tour guide for the upper canyon and showed us how to take the best pictures. It was worth the $40!

After finding all the places in Page booked until 3pm, we drove out to the canyon and booked a tour with Navajo Tours. It cost $6 pp for entrance to the Navajo land and $40 pp for the he tour. We got on the 12p tour and the light was great. Our guide Dominique was great. Helped us get the coolest pics. Even shot some for us with our cameras and warned us about getting dust In our lenses. Our second time at antelope canyon. Antelope Canyon Navajo Tours is the best.

We visited the Antelope Canyons early November 2013 and chose the Antelope Canyon Navajo Tour group for the Upper Canyon. This tour is located directly on Navajo lands in close proximity to the Upper Antelope Canyon. Don't expect a lavish office or waiting area. You won't get that, and it's not why you've made the trip! It's clean, well organized with great clean restrooms to use if needed. Bring cash only, but that SHOULD be common sense for most because of the remote location. There is a 3 mile truck ride which is tolerable if you keep your eyes and mouth closed. It's sandy/dusty. We had Leon as our tour guide and really enjoyed our time with him. He helped us with the best photography shots on our non-photography tour. He explained the rich history of the Navajo people as well as the geography of the canyon and surrounding area. It was a fantastic day for us and one I had been waiting for! Thank you Leon! This photo is one of my favorites -- I don't even know if Leon knows that I took it as he was demonstrating a great place for us to use for our photos.

This is a case where your first impression would be wrong, now having said that there are somethings I think they need to improve on, but what business is perfect. The ride is in a truck bed which is covered with a tarp like material, and exposed out the back end. Be prepared to get cold if the weather is lower at the time of your visit, and then the ride down the riverbed is something out of an amusement park ride, and gets a bit rough several times. The ride may also be dusty depending if anyone is in front of you, and probably pretty hot in the summer time. Our visit had great weather and therefore was uneventful, the tour guide was great and provided many great photo spots and got us there with plenty of time to tour the canyon without having to feel like you were being rushed. I would highly recommend this tour, but try taking one of the earlier tours to save a few dollars (the weather is the key to the time of your tour and the lighting conditions in the canyon)
