My wife and I hiked part of Buckskin Gulch in Vermillion Cliffs with Kyle in early Oct 2013. It was a beautiful hike through a winding and narrow slot canyon. Kyle was an excellent guide with exceptional knowledge of the geology, topography and history of the area which he graciously shared. He also was a great help in getting some great pictures. We would both highly recommend this area for hikes and this company.

“White Pocket tour was the best part of our trip!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 17, 2013

Just wanted to say how much we LOVED the tour to White Pocket. It was the highlight of our trip!!! I could have spent more time out there. It was so peaceful and truly have no words to describe it. I have so many great pictures. Thanks Kyle for making our trip to AZ one we will never forget. If we are ever back in AZ I will definitely call for another tour.

“White pockets like another planet”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 7, 2013

If you want something off the beaten path, this tour is for you. It is great for photographers. We even got some assistance carrying the tripod. You are unlikely to find other tour groups here unlike the din of the crowds in upper antelope canyon. Theoretically you could do this without a guide. But the turn offs are not well marked and a four wheel drive is necessary. Kyle was very professional and like able. The entire tour took about 6 hours with 4 hour of travel. So it is good if you don't mind some four wheel driving.

“The Wave”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 2, 2013

When we were lucky enought to win the lottery for The Wave we weren't sure if we would actually get there due to the weather conditions - the drive was classed as impassible due to heavy rain! Kyle was excellent and managed to get us there, safely, and with an excellent tour of the wave and surrounding area. He was very knowledgeable and interesting. Would definitely recommend a tour with him, well worth the money and one of the highlights of our 2 week holiday.

“White Pockets”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 3, 2013

Kyle took us out to White Pockets. It's truly amazing to see. It's about an hour from Page, and then another hour on very rough rocky/sandy "road" to get to White Pockets. No cell reception and one outhouse along the way.The journey with Kyle was fun as he told us about his travels around the world. He showed us special photo spots and briefly took us around White Pockets. You have time to wander on your own to capture pictures. This tour doesn't require any walking to get to except for exploring in and around White Pockets. You can basically see as much or as little as you want (the adventurous can scale the rock formations). We were there in the late afternoon until sunset. Would recommned bringing a tripod & remote shutter release (if doing sunset shoot), and shoes with good rubber soles / grips. Amazing to see, good for photo enthusiasts. Even as a novice DSLR user, I was happy with what I was able to capture. We had to leave promptly after the sun had set so for those hoping to capture the half hour post sunset you may have to check if this is possible. This tour would have gotten 5 stars however on the way back we ended up getting a fat tire (very rocky terrain). Due to the remote location, no cell service, and challenging terrain - it took us about an hour before we were on our way again.

We are sorry to have had mechanical issues with the flat tire during the White Pocket tour. Although these things happen from time to time in the canyon country, we have changed out all the trucks with the best tires we could buy. Our hope this will address this rare problem. Thank you for booking with us and would consider another excursion in the future.
