“Great place to stay”
Reviewed October 17, 2013

This was a great location and quiet hotel. Staff was friendly and helpful with the area. Loved that there was a balcony. Enjoyed eating my breakfast out there looking out at the desert. The only thing I would say that could be better is for the hotel to invest in new pillows. They were horrible. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay at this hotel again.

very nice. It would be even better to have tops for the ice cube containers in the room and to have an ice machine on the 1st floor. Conner was particularly helpful.

Room #304 - one-night stay (which turned into a two night stay) booked on-line through their web site. Base rate for two queen beds - $170.99 included free WiFi (with excellent speed/connection) and breakfast. We arrived early (before noon) and was greeted by Conner. What a wonderful experience we had with him...the best customer service we received during our entire two-week travels! He warmly greeted and engaged us, patiently answered all our questions, helped us with extending our stay, and when we had a problem with our room key card...he followed me to our room to make certain the second card worked properly so that I wouldn't be running back down, yet again, to get a different card if the second didn't work (apparently they had gotten a bad batch of key cards).

Finding the hotel entrance was a bit of a challenge if you are getting to it off of Haul Road. They do not have a sign by Haul Road and the hotel sits back behind a gas station and a Jack in the Box so the entrance is easily missed (finding the hotel entrance off of 89 is easier). The best way to find the entrance off of Haul Road is to look for the Comfort Inn sign...the Days Inn entrance is just across the street from it. The hotel is fairly new. Our room was VERY spacious and clean. The bath is a nice size with one sink located inside the bath area. It has the usual amenities (including a refrigerator) in addition to a room safe (costs $1.50 per day). The TV had a good selection of channels and good reception. The hotel has a small outdoor pool, a business center with a couple of computers located near the front desk (not very private) and a nice sitting area just outside the entrance (WiFi extends to that area). If you don't have a balcony...it's a nice place to sit in the evenings. The beds were very comfortable and we slept well. Had no issues with the heating/cooling unit. An interesting feature...our room overlooked the pool and instead of a window...they had a sliding glass door that you could open (although we had no balcony).

The staff were very helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly. When we were there I believe the hotel was full. At breakfast they were having difficulty keeping up with the demand. Tables needed cleaning, trash emptied, and the hot food choices were in need of refilling (eggs and meat). Also, to my surprise, they only had powered creamer for your coffee...I'm definitely NOT a fan of powered creamer and was very disappointed.

We had no difficulty with parking...was actually able to park in the exact same space during of our two-night stay. The hotel is close to a car wash, fast food restaurants (McDonalds & Jack in the Box), gas stations and a Wal-Mart is just across the road. The hotel is convenient to the downtown area, Glen Canyon damn and Powell lake. We enjoyed the facility and the area. We would definitely stay there again.

Nice clean newer hotel on edge of town . Room was quiet despite facing 89 and the hotel being sold out. Breakfast was ok but front desk staff was great. Good recommendations for eating and cocktails. After seeing some of the older downtown motels it confirmed this as a great choice

Not too many choices in Page, but you can't beat the location. Although the Grand Canyon and environs were closed because of the government shut-down, we enjoyed passing through this beautiful part of the country. The Days Inn was comfortable and quiet (request the top floor); breakfast was the usual fare (scrambled eggs, mystery meat, toast, cereal, waffles). The beds were very good; bathroom is cramped but adequate. We opened the window, which had a screen, but kept the sliding glass door closed because it didn't.

Room Tip: Request the top floor, looking west toward the Grand Canyon.
