Description: Big John's Texas BBQ is a family owned barbeque joint who brings a BIG taste of Texas to Arizona. We slow smoke our meats on wood for hours... You DO NOT need a reservation, just come on down! Our restaurant is closed each winter for 2 months.

This is true slow cooked smoked meat which is smoked right out front. There is no liquor license so no beer for those free peanuts. Messy, smoky and filling just like it should be. Young friendly staff.

A nice surprise in the middle of Page. Good food and pleasant service. Nothing like sandwiches at a gas station!

We took a ride down the main drag to fins a place to feed our family of five and came across this former gas station turned restaurant. What a great place. It's basic, delicious, and a great deal. We were there on a tuesday nite, and they had great live music that set the mood brilliantly. Picnic tables are under the original canopy. We ordered pulled pork sandwiches with cole slaw & the best pork n beans we've ever had, the kids had $5 kid meals which were smaller versions of the regular menu, not the usual garbage found on a kid menu. To feed a family of five well for $35 is a rare thing indeed.

I have eaten at this place twice. It was ok. The beef brisket is a little tough. I thought the side dishes were better than the brisket. Price was not bad for a in season tourist town $9 for a sandwitch and two sides.

Nothing special about the barbecue. The sauce is a little warm, which is OK, the beans were very good, service is slow.
