“wonderful day !”

It looks like the planet Mars ... These geological formations are very interesting if you like. Because you have to get up early and walk to enjoy the freshness. Loved it.

“Boat trip just a bit too long....”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 12, 2013

Boat trip there a bit too long, but the approach and the actual monument was pretty amazing. Be sure to sit on the left hand side on journey there on top deck if possible as the sun is on the other side and that side has the best photo shots. Then sit on the right on the way back. A long day and a lot of money for the trip when there are just as spectacular natural arches in Arches NP and Canyonlands in my opinion.

“Do not miss”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 6, 2013

We did Trip as well and it is well worth the walk. The boat trip to get there is wonderful with beautiful scenery. You have a walk at the end to get to the bridge, not good for wheelchair users but well worth it.

“Must see”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 30, 2012

From Wahweap marina, it is a little over an hours boat ride going pretty fast with no stops. LEAVE EARLY!!!! 50 miles one way. The waves get pretty choppy around 1-2 pm. It is something that you should see at least once if you visit the Lake. After you dock your boat, it is a short 1/4 mile walk to the arch. It is not for people who have a difficult time walking though. The guides at the arch are very helpful and answer all questions. A MUST SEE!

“Long and expensive day out”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 14, 2012

In Page we booked a boat tour to visit Rainbow Bridge. It is a long trip and expensive tour and the boat is very basic. Apart from some fruit and granola bars there are no lunch options on board. Once you get to Rainbow Bridge the boat docks and you continue on foot for another 15-20 minutes. Of course Rainbow Bridge itself is an impressive arch, but unfortunately you can only get photos on the shade side as it is a Navajo Holy site and you are not allowed to walk under the bridge to view it from the other side. We found the whole excursion too expensive and time consuming to justify the visit. My advice: tackle the 1 1/2 hour round trip walk to Corona Arch near Moab instead. Beautiful Arch aka Little Rainbow Bridge. You can walk all around and through it and no crowds and no cost.
