I didnt have my socks knocked off but it was definitely neat. I will forever know the difference between a bridge and an arch. Area around the park is kinda bland but be sure to check out the Moki Dugway. And EXTREMELY helpful rangers and use assistants. Wish we could have stuck around for the meteor shower that night.

“Beautiful bridge”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 10, 2012

Loved the 2 hr each way boat ride in spectacular scenery. Saw a group of about 6 coyotes on the shoreline which was a thrill. Short 10 min walk which we found to be fine to see Rainbow Bridge close up. You can see part of the bridge from the boat dock. Don't miss this trip if your in the Page area.

“Long boat trip worth it”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 9, 2012

Rainbow Bridge is breath-taking and the slot canyons leading to it are beautiful.
Boat crew very helpful and pleasant, but it is a long way over Lake Powell and back, must be worse when there are lots of houseboats to slow up the trip.
The organisers - Lake Powell Resorts and Marinas - run a very professional, well-run operation and all members of staff (phone, reception, on boat) were courteous, helpful and pleasant.
Take your own headphones for comfort for the audio tour on the way over.

This was my third boat trip to the Rainbow Bridge. Unfortuately each time it is a farther hike to get to it. The boat trip from Wahweap was about 5.5 hours in total and just beautiful from start to finish.

The cost was $125 per person but we got a discount to $102 for staying at the hotel. They provide coffee, lemonade, bottled water, granola bar, and apples on the boat. Also headsets with intersting information about the lake and its history.

The hike was about 1/2 mile and it was easy. They provided plenty of time for a leisurely walk and visit to the bridge. There was a park ranger at the bridge to give information and answer questions.

We went in October 2012 and there was just one trip per day - starting at 7 AM. By the time you get to the bridge, the sun is behind the bridge making it tough to photograph.

Overall it was an excellent place to visit. The size of the bridge does not show well in photos. It is about the size of a thirty floor building. Truly awesome.

It is a nice park with 3 natural bridges that you can see without hiking. We did take the last 2 mile hike but it is not an easy walk though if you hike it is not hard. The formations were different than Canyonlands and Arches and Lake Powell
