We upgraded to a lake view room with reasonable price and the front desk staff was very helpful and patient. The room is clean and comfortable. You can take a stroll along the lake any time of the day and night and feel great (safe)! We even unexpectedly caught the sight of Hunter's moon during our evening walk. Unforgettably beautiful. From my latest experience touring national parks, I found living inside the parks is of great advantage which offsets the higher price.

Stayed here 7 years ago when touring through the area. Reason we decided to visit again was the location, friendleness of staff and clean comfortable rooms. All were evident again on this trip. Stayed for 3 nights on this occasion as we had not visited all the attractions in the area the first time. The resort is about 10 minutes from Page but the hotels in Page do NOT have the view that the resort does.We did eat breakfast in the restaurant (appreciating the tremendous backdrop throught the windows) but were not overly impressed with the choices for dinner. However there is now another option for dining. It only opened in June 2013 and it is down at the Marina called Latitude 31. I would recommend you try it. The marina is approximately 10/20 minutes walk away but fear not if you do not wish the walk. Just ask at reception and a golf buggy will appear and whisk you down to the marina within about 4 minutes. When you have finished your meal ask one of the staff at Latitude and very shortly afterwards the buggy will be there to take you back. Even better as it is all uphill on the way back. Both of us do not normally choose burgers but we were tempted by the Salmon burger and it was absolutely delicious. So much so that the following evening we had exactly the same and were not dissapointed. One of the trips we went on this time was river rafting from Glen Canyon Dam down the Colorado. Do take time out to do this as you get a sense of the magnitude and appreciate what it must of been like to navigate this river without the assistance of an outboard motor. Up until the beginning of the year the trip was 17 miles to Lees ferry and returning by coach. This is not now available and will continue not to be available for the next 2 years as the road from Lees Ferry to Page is being rebuilt after a landslide. However you still travel 7 miles down and past horseshoe bend before returning.

Room Tip: Lake view rooms are worth the extra

I must say I didn't feel very good booking at the resort after reading many of the not so positive reviews. Ok, the rooms are not top notch, but besides the disfunctional lock of the patio door, I really had no complain about the room. The location is ideal, the views maginificent; the swimmingpools perfect, the boutique handy; we ate once at the cheap restaurant (ok for pizza), once at the more expensive one (great views, food a bit pricy), and the deli helped expediting breakfast and pack a lunch at a resonable cost. Anyway Page and all its restaurants are close enough. The proximity of the Marina is helpfull. Overall Lake Powell was one of the highlights of the trip, and the resort contributed greatly to it. We very much appreciated relaxation after an intensive trip hiking in many of the parks of the region. I would not hesitate to go back to that place.

Room Tip: pick a room with marina or lakee view; worth the few extra dollars.

Friends and I stayed at the Lake Powell Resort Lodge (sometimes called Wahweap Lodge)
at Lake Powell. This place is not in Page, Arizona, but is North of town and inside the Glen Canyon National Recreation Area. So you have to pay to go into the recreation area to get to the lodge. It's a typical hotel with comfortable rooms, but the views are great, depending upon which rooms you get. The views from the restaurant at breakfast
are fantastic. I've seen mural paintings in museums but the view east from those great bay windows is absolutely terrific and like nothing else in the world. Food for breakfast is typical, nothing fantastic, but with those views, do you care? One can also make boat rentals, houseboat rentals or book the tour boat to take you to Rainbow Bridge. All great fun.

Room Tip: Ask for a room with a lake view. Otherwise you get a nice view of the parking lot.

The pro's outweigh the cons at this lovely resort right on Lake Powell. Our room with balcony faced the lake. Great views abound. If you have to pay extra for the view, I would do it. Your alternative is a view of the parking lot. I have seen mixed reviews on the rooms and common areas, but we had no complaints. It isn't new, but it was clean and well-equipped, right down to the Keurig coffee maker. The Rainbow Room, the main restaurant was large but well managed and full of great views. Service and food were both excellent during my two days at the resort.

Room Tip: Get a room facing the lake, even if it costs more.

Only stayed one night but wished we could have stayed longer. There was no decent place to eat in Page so we ate at the resort. Dinner was amazing and our waiter was great. They also told us when to eat in the morning so we could avoid eating at the same time as a bus tour.

We spent eight day driving around the canyons and stopped here for two nights.
With pleasant staff and a good view overlooking the lake. The public rooms seem to be undergoing refurbishment, but our bedroom on the shabby side. The room appeared clean enough, but when we had a little visitor ( a small lizard) I was charged with getting him out of the room and onto the balcony (My wife thought he might crawl over her in the night) I had to look under the bed for him and it was obvious that the cleaner had not looked under there for some months. The bed's were comfortable and the linen good.
The fridge was good.
The air-con noisy but effective.
There was no safe in the room and no elevator to the upper floor.
We did a boat trip on the lake:That was well worth doing, but most of the time we spent by a pool. There are two pools (they are clean), but don't really have enough sunbeds.
There is a bar/restaurant by one of the pools where we ate lunch. I did not think the food was too costly but some folk did)
The Rainbow restaurant is huge: It has to be there is no real alternative for dinner.
The portions were huge ( there is a $4 surcharge if you want to share a portion)
This is a reasonable place top stop over on the way to somewhere else.

Room Tip: The view over the lake is better than over the marina: you will get a better view from the upper flo...
