Four of us took the 2 hour photographic tour with Eugene as our Chief Tsosie guide for Upper Antelope Canyon. We flew into Page in a small plane and we were picked up by the tour company and taken to the canyon in the back of an open covered pickup for the 10 or 15 minute dusty drive across the sand to the canyon. Our tour was the 10:30AM tour which we had heard was a good time to see beams of light in the canyon and we were not disappointed. The canyon is magnificent and we shot many great pictures although I eventually discarded the tripod in favor of using a higher ASA. for ease of use. The photo tour was definitely the better choice of tours as we were given much more time to tour and shoot. Our guide also took some shots for us and cleared the way with the other groups so that we had clear views of the various rooms. I would highly recommend this tour and we all enjoyed the canyon even though it was crowded.

My wife and I took the photographic tour at 1:00 pm; there were only 7 people (plus the guide, Milo) on our tour. Milo was incredibly helpful, giving tips how to best photograph the canyon and making sure we had plenty of time to set up and get our shots. There were many groups going into and out of the canyon, but paying a little more for the longer tour (2 1/2 hours) with less people allowed more time to set up shots and enjoy the canyon. A tripod is a must to get adequate exposure time to pick up all the colors of the canyon.

We were fortunate to run into the wonderful reviews on TA or might never have discovered this great company. We took the 2.5 hour photographic tour with Navajo guide, Vera - she couldn't have been more informative, more helpful or more assertive when making sure we saw all we needed to in the canyon! I'm not a photographer and really do nothing more than point and shoot but she made sure my settings were right and even took a number of photos for me...unlike the shorter, more rushed tours of the canyon, you get a certain amount of consideration from the other guides who understand that you are there for photographs. We were not rushed and were able to return to areas that Vera knew would have lovely light in a few minutes. A magical day with a very knowledgeable guide.

We went on the short tour of the Antelope Slot Canyon on August 21st. We chose Chief Tsosie tours after asking for suggestions from some locals. We had no reservations, but they found a spot for us on a 4:00 tour that was about to leave. The trip to the canyon is VERY bumpy, but fun. Our guide, Josh, was the best. He helped everyone in our group set up their cameras for the best shots, even taking several himself for us. He even took some photos of us in the canyon too. He played the flute and told us several Navajo beliefs - it was awesome and Josh just made the experience perfect. This place is truly magnificent and well worth the money.

We took a tour of Antelope Slot Canyon recently. The only problem we had with the reservation is that they continually spelled my name wrong so there was always an issue of finding it. Other than that, we met at the designated place and got started on the tour. The truck drives over a sandy area and that is quite an experience - you wonder if the truck is going to fall over. We weren't treated to the song and dance before the tour like a previous poster. The canyon is beautiful but it was definitely crowded with other tourists. Our guide's name was Carl. He was very helpful with the cameras and on numerous occasions laid down in the sand to get a shot facing up.
