Imagine you are the only restaurant in a town where most guests eat at the lodge/inn where they are staying. It's hard to make it, so we decided to have lunch there on our departure day while waiting for our Alaska flight ot Juneau. We ordered a couple of burgers and Angry Orchard ciders. Burgers were HUGE - 6 ounces I think - and came with a side of fries. Unfortunately they were underdone but we had plenty just eating around the sides. If you, like us, want to support the local Gustavus restaurant economy rather than Aramark and aren't able to get a reservation at one of the inns we might recommend trying the coffee shop next to the Clove Hitch which seems to have good coffee, some soups and light meals.
