This café in West Glacier was more than expected given the isolated location and captive audience for lunch. The pies and huckleberry ice-cream steal the show, but the chili and the sandwiches were tasty and with generous portions. The salads were staple salad fare, but very fresh. This is not gourmet food, however, it is well prepared.

I don't exaggerate when I say "I drove 1200 miles just so I could eat the blueberry pancakes!" There's nothin' foo-foo about this fare. It's just great ingredients in the hands of more than competent cooks. Don't expect low calories, whipped cream, powdered sugar ... It's just blueberry perfection one pancake at a time.

You want more? The staff seem to have all been there a while ... And, thats a good thing. they are serious about their jobs, the customers and the food they serve. The water is ice cold and served in 1/2 liter bottles. The coffee is hot and robust and comes in a large carafe. The portions of eggs, breakfast meats and potatoes are substantial. You can get enough calories at breakfast to keep you hiking the trails and enjoying the time spent in the great outdoors.

Lunches are great! I haven't had one of their boxed lunches, but, I'm certain they would be great, too!

nice menu for lunch. We had salads and sandwiches easy access to the park. Liked the huckleberry creme pie and the hamburger.

Have the huckleberry ice cream. Dinners range is the $18-30 range. They have a kids menu. Wait people were pleasant. Portions big.

After spending A LOT of money and not so great food in the park- the Glacier Cafe rocked! Everyone enjoyed their meals and our 15 year couldn't stop talking about the chicken strips!
Reasonable prices and great portions
