“Comfort in the woods of Glacier!”
Reviewed September 16, 2013 via mobile

The luxurious cabins just outside Glacier NP are so welcoming after a day of hiking and sight-seeing. Made for a couple (0ne room, 1 queen bed), they are spacious and designed to give plenty of storage for all your stuff, breakfast items, frig, microwave...nicely decorated too. Breakfast (cereal, fruit, juice, muFfins, coffee) are all ready for you to eat when you wish. The front porch is a great place to lounge with a book or glass of wine. These are not rustic accommodations!

Having few options for accommodations in Glacier National Park the week after Labour Day, my boyfriend and I had to look farther afield. We were hoping to find something quaint and rustic as a compromise to not being able to stay in the Park, or camp (as many of the campsites were closed or booked). Thinking that a cabin might be a good option, I found Silverwolf.

After seeing some of the other places in the area, outside of the park, I have to say it is one of the nicer, maintained and clean facilities we encountered. The person at the office was very nice and hospitable. However, staying here felt more like staying at a manicured golf course rather than in a mountain park. I appreciated the cleanliness and the proximity to the park, but if you are going for a rustic mountain experience, this might not be it.

Breakfasts are packaged cereal, mass produced muffins and fruit. Noise from the highway and railway are also noticeable, but not overwhelming.

Trip Advisor helpful in finding this gem--perfect couple cabin sitting amongst pines. So cute, pristine, clean; obviously cabins made by craftsman--pine everything, including wood floors!
Just few miles from Glacier. Owners and staff, Friendly, helpful. Fresh muffins everyday along with OJ in refrig. Awesome place to stay for 4 days!

This was an absolutely outstanding place to stay. Cabins and grounds were extremely neat and clean. My mother is almost OCD clean, so for her to like these cabins was amazing. It was extremely quiet there. The staff were all very helpful and friendly. I would definitely stay there again.

After searching and searching for an affordable first class accomadations we found this place through Glacier National Park. It is very clean, private and comfortable. Granted we were in the park 16 hours everyday but it was great to come back to the cabin and feel right at home. Just a few suggestions: offer a breakfast menu selection versus the muffins and cereal, upgrade the shower head and offer another sitting chair. We stayed in cabin one for six nights and it was shaded and very cool at night, good sleeping weather. The traffic noise was minor and we never had time to watch TV. The WiFi was a great option. Would highly recommend this place and it is the best first class lodging in the area.

Room Tip: Cabin one is a good choice

we had the 2br. delux chalet we love this place will stay again and if only 2 of us will try one of the one room cabins. the grounds are very well kept and we had nice visits with Janet (staff) she new where to go and what to see. the view from the porch was really wonderful. No a/c so if you visit in the summer like we did keep the blinds closed during the day and it will cool down and stay nice temp inside.

I had some concerns after reading some reviews, but what a delightful experience! Seven miles from West Glacier and all the good stuff. Others mentioned highway noise...didn't even hear it. Railroad noise....barely even heard it. (And I, too, am a light sleeper). We slept with the windows open, except one night when it was too cool, and we actually needed the small gas stove, which worked perfectly. The cabins and grounds are squeaky clean. There is a small refrigerator and microwave in the room, a side table with two chairs, as well as another club chair. Plenty of room!!! Bed is perfectly fine, just not luxury. Shower is roomy, and the hot water works beautifully. It's not the Hilton, and I'm good with that. Small older TV, which we had on all of 30 minutes. It's Glacier National Park!! Go outside! This place is a find, don't miss it.
