Great spot for our family of five. We rented a mid-size deluxe cabin and the place was spotless upon arrival. The amenities are perfect, from the kitchenette to the propane grill and patio outside. The staff was friendly and helpful. No question that we will return. Great spot.

Very nice campground!! Back from the road, no highway noise! Great restaurant serving breakfast and supper of you need it. Showers and bathrooms very clean! Would recommend for anyone!! The campground is very busy and I would strongly recommend reservations although they were very accommodating when we just showed up! Close by is a lot of fun things to do! There's a family fun centre with a maze, bumper boats, mini golf and go carts. Lots of white water rafting companies. Helicopter tours and the trip to Logan's Pass!

Great place, with great amenities. You name it, they have it there, including a little restaurant.
We chose it because it's close to the west Glacier National Park entrance.
Do they promise wifi? yes, but it is horrible, likely due to the crowding in the sold-out KOA. Took 1/2 hour to sign on, and getting any work done is a huge challenge. I'd say it's much slower than dial-up, so beware!

Room Tip: your neighbors will be close but it's a very nice facility, except for the wifi

This is a very clean and well maintained campground – but on the flip side it is also fairly expensive. However, it is worth the higher price for the patio sites given they include a very large paved patio, a large stone table with umbrella which seats 6 comfortably and a large propane BBQ. The landscaping is over the top and even have in ground sprinklers which come on every morning. They also include 2 sewer hook-ups if you have that large of a rig, as I have never seen a site with that before. There are however, some pretty small sites, the treed sites are very small and I do not think they are worth $58. We saw a number of units which were far too large for those sites, so people should book wisely as otherwise you may end up not being able to put out a slide or take down your awning.
The facilities are clean, the laundry room is large and the bathrooms are well kept. The playground was a good size and the basketball net added some extra fun for my kids. The only downside I have to mention is the size of the pool compared with the number of guests. Compared to the East Glacier KOA, which can accommodate about the same number of guests, their pool is 50% larger, so we did not experience the same level of busyness as we did here. There were times when it was hard to find a space to get wet in the pool never mind swim. While we have children, I honestly would not suggest this place to anyone who does not, not if you want to swim as the kids will drive you crazy.
Close to the end of our trip this review changed, I was going to rave on about how this place could do no wrong, and then a large group was beginning a rally and they all had very large Marathon type motor homes. They were able to hire a third party washing company to come in and clean their big motor homes while the rest of the campground are told that there is to be “absolutely” no cleaning of units. This screamed of double standard and honestly, the cleaning process was very noisy and they made quite a spectacle of themselves for this. I would therefore suggest if you are travelling to this KOA to not do it if they are having such a rally again as they clearly had full intention of taking over the campground for their stay.
Service was great though, and the nearby attractions were all very nice including the Fun Centre, the Big Sky Waterslides and the Hungry Horse Dam. And of course Glacier National Park was breathtaking!

Room Tip: be honest about the size of your unit or if you book too small a site you might not be able to take...

The West Glacier KOA is a beautiful park. It is family and pet friendly. We have stayed the past two years and will return next year. We stayed in a motorhome; our site was great. The KOA is very conveniently located to the entrance of the park. It has a nice pool, great sites and great food!

Only a few miles from Glacier National Park. Super clean, beautiful landscaping, and sites for all- RVs, tent campers and cabins. I think anyone would enjoy a stay here. The KOA is set back t

My family stayed in various accomodations. My sister was in a Camping Cabin. Perfect for people that don't have a tent or trailer. My mom and her friend stayed in a lodge. No roughing it for them! Nice to have the BBQ to use. We were in a tent trailer in a site with water and electric. Spacious, clean site. This place is awesome for a family vacation! Kids loved the pool and photo slide show. We would like to thank Linda for watching our younger children while the "big kids" went whitewater rafting. Hope to be back next year for a family reunion. Great place to stay on any budget! The only negative was that 2 nights in a row, the power went out. Too many big buses using their A/C!
