Description: We welcome you to Glacier National Parks West Entrance as we have welcomed visitors for over sixty years. The restaurant and other West Glacier Mercantile buildings were constructed in 1938 at the junction of the Going to the Sun Road and US Highway 2. We are open mid May thru mid September, serving breakfast lunch and dinner. Our food is all home made, desserts are amazing and staff is exceptional. We are able to accommodate your group whatever the size. We are fully licensed so you may enjoy a cocktail with your meal and we do take out or sack lunches if you prefer to eat "on the fly". Stop in and check out our ice cream cones or huckleberry cream pie!

Very good service, generous portions and great food. Great place for dinner after a day of hiking. No doubt this is one of the places to eat when in Glacier.

After a disappointing meal at the Belton, night two in West Glacier was always going to have to be here. It looks very diner/family restaurant, but the menu was surprisingly appealing. Service was great, portions were generous, and the food was good. Simple food well cooked. Nothing wrong with that at all.

Service is great and what can I saw about location! It is convenient without having that high price tag that you can get in some of the National Parks. Food is average but still better than we thought we would get!

We found this little hole in the wall and ate here several times... everything we ordered was outstanding! Loved the big portions after hiking all day! Breakfast was wonderful, too!

We were surprised that this restaurant, located just outside the gates the Glacier, was NOT a tourist trap. Good food, plentifully served. The turkey, gravy, stuffing and cranberry sauce was surprisingly good. Cobb salad was huge and had a generous portion of avocado. All four adults at our table were very pleased.
