“4 Day Backcountry Hiking”
Reviewed September 6, 2013

I just got finished with an amazing 4 day backcountry hike with Glacier Guides and our guide JD. Glacier Guides did a great job of pairing our group up as we loved the people we met in our group. The 4 day hike was an incredible experience as we got to see a few different environments within Glacier and loved the amazing views from Fifty Mountain to Kootenai Lake. The meals were delicious and surpassed our expectations for backcountry camping food - the pasta with pesto, sun dried tomatoes and mushrooms with parmesan was our favorite along with the quinoa oatmeal- yum! In addition to guiding us along the trail JD was our local historian, geologist, chef, first aid responder, and storyteller. We enjoyed the camp stories including the "Night of the Grizzly's" amongst others. Overall the trip was filled with beautiful views, flora and fauna and an unforgettable experience. Well worth the money!

“Back Country Guided Trip with Susan”
Reviewed September 6, 2013

My husband and I participated in a three day back country trip lead by Susan. It was absolutely amazing. She was extremely knowledgeable of Glacier- its history and present life, the wildlife, and the spirit of such an amazing place. Glacier Guides prepared us well for the trip, with an excellent list of supplies and necessities weeks in advance. It was an awesome trip and we definitely recommend Glacier Guides for all your backcountry needs in Glacier.

“Good experience”
Reviewed September 6, 2013

I just returned from one of their 3-day backcountry hiking trips. Overall, a good experience. The guide was understanding and helpful to a newbie hiker. The food was better than expected. The equipment provided was in good condition, although the "mummy" style sleeping back does not necessarily fit all sleep types. We had rain on the 2nd night but the tent stayed dry.

“Highly Recommend Glacier Guides”
Reviewed September 4, 2013

My parents, husband and I took a rafting trip near the end of the season this summer. The water was fairly low but our guide, Trey, did a great job of maximizing our ride on each rapid. The trip was fairly mellow but beautiful and very informative. Because of the water conditions Trey was able to talk to us about the history of the land and geography, something he clearly has a passion for and has done a lot of reading about on his own. We passed another boat that had 10 rafters and 1 guide. I liked the intimacy of the 6 person maximum on our boat. I will definitely be going again in spring and highly recommend this company to anyone interested in rafting in Glacier.
