After Driving 7 hours to get to West Glacier just about anything is more fun but our raft trip with Ross was the most fun we as a group had had in a long time. The Raft ride and diner prepared by our guide Ross was second to none. This was our first raft trip and it had just the right amount of excitement and relaxation to encourage our family to go again. Our guide was a proficient, professional guide with as cool sense of humor and enough knowledge to make us comfortable as we put our faith in him to guide us down the river. We had a water fight with the raft that followed us down the river and I remember at the end of the trip a gentleman from the other raft telling me that ” our guide was awesome” and I agree. He kept the trip interesting and safe but still edgy enough to think we were doing something daring. My hats off to Ross and Glacier Guides for a great day of memories.

We took this fabulous guided hike in late July 2012 and highly recommend it. You need to be in at least average hiking condition to fully enjoy this first-rate outdoor experience. Sperry and Granite Park chalets are scenic, comfortable and the food at both was hearty and tasty - especially the guide-prepared food at Granite Park. Our guides (Jen and Allison) were friendly, knowledgeable and super competent. Wildlife, wildflowers, dramatic views, great people. Don't miss it!

I really enjoyed my 6 day Backpacking with Glacier Guides. Our guide Jen was fantastic. She cooked amazing food every day and kept surprising us the entire trip. She also had excellent knowledge of wildlife, plant life, and history of the park. She went the extra mile ensuring the comfort and safety of everyone. She assisted several people with foot blisters and maintained a positive fun attitude the whole time. Highly recommended.

We have lived in the area and had never gone on a guided raft trip. The crew at Montana Raft exceeded our expectations. Trey was such a great guide, fun, safe and very informative. It is easy to tell when people like what they do and it is very apparent that the staff at Glacier Guides and Montana Raft Co love their jobs. It is fun to see how they interact with each other and the guests. We will definitely do this again. Thanks Trey and Montana Raft Company. Terri C.

Hands down the best part of our Montana trip! Our full day hiking guide, Dean, completely tailored our trip according to our kids abilites and desires. So knowledgeable about the history of the park. Our day hike lasted until 8:00PM, 3 hours overtime because Dean wanted our kids to see the wildlife and made sure he showed us everything he possibly could. We loved his passion for Glacier! Our half day rafting with Trey was fabulous, fun, adventurous and safe. He prepared us perfectly for all the rapids and no one fell in! I would recommend the full day with older kids, but half day was perfect for our 10 and 8 year old kids. Lastly, this is a team of people who really care and go above and beyond! I lost my prescription glasses, which eventually turned up in their van. They looked high and low and kept looking even though we couldn't find them at first. They called me enthusiastically to tell me they found them and sent them to me in California right away. I am very grateful and appreciate their persistence and kindness!
